Bujtina Berishta

We stayed here for 2 nights . Absolutely amazing location . It’s raised on a hill so you get a great view of the mountains in front and around .

There is a big open garden where they serve up the meals and really cozy place inside in case it’s a bit chilly .

The breakfast is wholesome although limited in options . Remember this is in a distant mountainside village so things do run of our stock and there is only little shop to replenish the entire village .

Rooms were adequate . It seems like a slightly newer property . Lighting in some rooms can be better.

Salads are from local places so everything tastes fresh and lovely . The kids loved the local honey so much we got a couple of litres back for home .

Meals are quite good as well although they tried to accommodate one of the guests with us who was a vegetarian . Albania has limited options for pure veggies anyway .

Staff were mostly friendly . We struggled at times since we didn’t speak Albanian or Italian which are the most commonly spoken languages here . But nothing that google translate couldn’t resolve 😊.

We stayed in the new building for two nights. Even though the rooms were not completely finished, the rooms were really nice and clean. They served a lot of traditional albanian food for breakfast and dinner. Really a value for the price.

Definitely a highlight of my trip in Albania. The host of this guesthouse are extremely helpful and the food was fabulous. I sleep like a baby and was extremely grateful to have spent a few days in an area that is like paradise.

The name is actually 'Bujtina Berishta', not Breishta. 😉 The room was OK, the toilet seat was broken, but the personnel was phenomenal! They prepared 11-course lunches/dinners for the price of 8€ and the breakfast was included in the price. They were able to arrange us a ride from Theth to Shkoder as well. 5/5

Me, my wife and my brother stayed last Friday at Berishta Guesthouse in Theth and we had a great experience. The food was delicious, location was fantastic, the hosts were kind and friendly. Faleminderit Fatmir. Respekte.

Das Guesthouse und das Hotel haben eine super Lage, Personsl, Zimmer absolut in! Das traditionelle Essen und Frühstück war hervorragend! Kommen hier gerne wieder zurück!
