Deliu Family Tourism

Our stay and time in Mollagjesh with Sabri and Shefikat were the best of our time in Albania. From the beginning, their son Elkierd was extremely helpful in communicating with us and organising our stay at his parents house. The Deliu family welcomed us into their beautiful home with open arms, and made us feel as if we had know them for years.
The village is beautiful, and their house is surrounded by their plants and fruits which they will be happy to show you. Of course we cannot forget the chickens! We helped feed them and Sabri showed us how he makes his aromatic raki- which we drank with every delicious meal. The home cooked food made by Shefikat was some of the freshest and tastiest we have had- we loved spending time together eating lunch and dinner and learning Shqip.
You can breathe fresh air with the view of the mountains, swim in the lake and then head home to sit in front of the fire with their cat Maku. It is a truly magical place, where you hear the sound of the birds from dusk until dawn. We thank the Deliu family for their hospitality- it is unbeatable. It was a pleasure to meet and spend time with them. One day we will be back for another kafe express!

A nice place in a quiet and very beautiful space. The owners are hospitable and very polite. The lady of the house cooks wonderfully. Funar is all an area to be seen and enjoyed and Deliu Family is located in the perfect place to start hiking in all directions. I recommend it. A great corner to spend beautiful days in an impressive nature.

It is the optimal place to spend your vacation. Quiet place, mauntains and lakes.

An unique experience to live.

Na een paar hectische dagen met veel herrie en onrust aan de ionische kust zijn we heerlijk tot rust gekomen bij de familie Deliu hoog in de bergen. Mooie wandeling gemaakt. te vinden op komoot. De rust, de natuur, het heerlijke eten en bovenal de hartelijke gastvrijheid van Shefikat en Sabri hebben een mooi einde aan onze vakantie gemaakt. Dank jullie wel!

Eine einzigartige Erfahrung 👍🏻. Hier teilt eine albanische Familie ihr Leben, Haus und Herz mit den Urlaubern. Man fühlt sich in der Zeit zurückversetzt, hier gelten noch ganz andere Regeln. Es wird gegessen was selbst produziert wird, die moderne Welt wird hier vergessen (trotzdem ist WLAN vorhanden). Nach einer abenteuerlichen Fahrt auf den Berg kann man hier seine Zeit einfach genießen. In der Nähe sind 3 wunderschöne Seen und die eine einzigartige Landschaft wird uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben, ebenso wie die unbeschreibliche Gastfreundschaft! Danke 😍.
