Aphrodite’s Garden

Aphrodite's Garden is a true oasis in the south of Albania. From the fantastic view from the rooms over the bay, to the exceptionally good and plentiful breakfast and the friendliness of all the staff, we really had a wonderful stay.

We stayed for one night, hotel was nice and clean. The best beds in Albania we had here in this hotel. Hotel has beautiful garden with sea view where they serve breakfast. I’m the fridge we had free water which was a nice surprise. I can’t say a bad thing about this place. All was good! Only thing you need to know is that it’s far away from the center so you should definitely have car.

This place is very close to the beach and the hotel is very clean and neat. Breakfast was awesome. People are awesome here.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at this place with a balcony and a stunning sea view. The vibes and atmosphere were truly amazing, creating a perfect setting for a relaxing time. The staff's exceptional training and bilingual skills added a touch of professionalism and warmth to the whole experience. The food was exquisite, and the drinks were top-notch, contributing to a memorable dining experience. What truly stood out was their generosity in serving complimentary desserts each time we visited. Without a doubt, I strongly recommend this place for an exceptional all-around experience.

Wow our stay here in this apartment was very nice, Room was very clean and neat with all facilities, Exceptional break fast, tasty with the good view from the garden and the room balcony. Old mother and father treated us very well like their child. they even packed breakfast which includes everything including the juice. Old mommy gave a gift to my wife when we left the apartment and take care with everything we need without hesitation. Room service is too good by cleaning the rooms every day. Parking just below the apartment. Beautiful garden with lemon trees and a hanging sit out. my son enjoyed the stay. we will miss the mother and father. they also helped us getting the money exchanged for our expenses in Albania. over all definitely will visit again. Must recommended for everyone. Happy Stay❤

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. Stayed here two separate weekends.
Location superb, you can watch the entire Livadhi beach from up here. The rooms are comfy and also spacious. But the 100 stars go only to the staff and Irini on top. She’s a masterchef to be honest and cooks really hearty meals. We came late in the evening but they had our room ready and she gave me a homemade dessert she had made just because. If half of albanian hotel owners were like her, i dont know. But 10/10 stay. 10/10 staff, a true hidden gem.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel staff are all super friendly and welcoming, the location and views are incredible, and the breakfast was fantastic. Wish I could have stayed another night! (In fact, loved it so much I tried to book a second night before checking out, but it was already fully booked!).

Truly the most incredible place to stay in Albania, Himare area. They are the most generous and attentive family that will make sure your stay is perfect!! And the food is the best, make sure you stay for dinner, you won't regret it! Such a cozy place with the best views and location in Himare.

We had an amazing stay at Aphrodite! The view is just spectacular and I really like the fact that all rooms are facing the valley and the sea! Rooms are comfortable and with everything needed; most rooms (at least ours did) have balcony with chairs and table which is again very appreciated.
There is a lovely garden where you'll have breakfast and the meals if you decide to eat at Aphrodite. Breakfast is delicious and you feel very well looked after!
Honestly we couldn't have made a better choice!
A note on the area: I really like the position of this hotel because it's in between 2 bays both with beach and seaside, full of restaurants, cafes and also some hiking trailers so I would really recommend you to stay here :)

Amazing little hotel with great view over the ocean (& even Corfu is visible on a clear day)!
Very friendly, welcoming owners who run the hotel on their own and do all the cooking (fresh, local food for breakfast & dinner). We had a lovely dinner watching a beautiful sunset - really no need to go into Himarë to eat!

Absolutely fantastic hotel run by a very nice couple. Great views, walking distance to beach and old town Himare. It’s on a hill and a bit away from town so if you are a healthy walker it’s ok, otherwise you will need a car or taxi. Very peaceful and relaxing environment. Incredible hospitality with top notch service. Warm, welcoming. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Wonderful breakfast and delicious dinner with generous portions.

We had the best experience staying at Aphrodite! The service is absolutely world class, the food is amazing, and the view is stunning. We could not have asked for a better time in Himare and would have given 6/5 stars if possible.

Pros:
this location is amazing. the view is spectacular and the service that was offered for the money exceeded all the expectations. Irini is a master chef. the breakfast is incredible, very tasty and all you haven't finished is offered for take away. cake and doughnuts are offered at every breakfast and an incredible good jam.
the dinner is not included but the quality of the food is amazing, much better than the taverns on the beach and it costs the same or less.
the towels smell very nice and are changed every day. here there are 4 star conditions for the price of a 2* hotel. it's a hidden gem. the quality of the mattresses is very high, I could not sleep more than 6h a night as I'm waking up in full power. the parking is close to the street so you won't have to get stressed parking the car on the hill.

Cons:
there is nothing to complain. I paid 33€ in may so I didn't have the same conditions in Sarande for 60€. only the conditions in Vlore were the same but that was a 4* hotel.

Never go to Tirana (a shame in Alabania) but go here and you will be the most happy people.

Everything was perfect. The accomodation is very nice and clean. The view is spectacular. The food is excellent. Breakfast is delicious and large. I strongly recommend dinner which is prepared by host and which you can enjoy in the garden. We will definitely come back again.

I was in Aphrodite Garden Rooms & Apartment in May 2022. It is small very nice hotel, fresh and clean. Owners that run hotel are very polite. Food (breakfasts and dinners) are very good, everything is fresh and tasty. Size of breakfasts is incredible. View from hotels on sea is amazing. It is definitely place worth stay in.

Hidden gem in Himarë!
One of the best experience I've ever had, everything was flawless.
Gorgeous landscape on the Livadhe beach, wonderful food with local fresh ingredients, the included breakfast is as copious as qualitative (I recommend petulla), the service is impeccable and the staff is super friendly (alongside the cute kittens).
Definitely the best value for money in the area!
