Hotel Bar Restaurant KODRA

We’ve been here for lunch. The food was DELICIOUS and the view spectacular. We ate in a panoramic terrace with automatic windows which could eventually close in case of rain or cold temperatures. The staff was kind and the price were standard (11€ ish per person). Definitely suggested

The place was amazing, the rooms were very cosy and warm, decoration wise it gave you a total amazing feeling that perfectly describes Gjirokaster, The rooms were very clean, the staff were amazing and very welcoming, I would recommend it to anyone, and for sure visit and have a longer stay again!

We went 5 months ago to Kodra Restaurant which stands out for not only offering delicious halal food but also for its welcoming owner who adds a personal touch to the dining experience. The menu, featuring alot of options, is a testament to the culinary expertise of the restaurant. The owner's hospitality adds an extra layer of warmth, making guests feel at home. My family and I recently stayed at this hotel and it was an incredible experience! The beauty and comfort of the place are indescribable. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Before our arrival, they checked in on us to ensure we found the road to the hotel. When we encountered blocked roads due to an event nearby, the staff escorted us to another route. The front desk girl carried our luggage up the stairs and promptly to our room. On Saturday night, there was live music which made our stay even more pleasant. The views at night were simply amazing. The rooms were decorated with traditional elements intertwined with modern amenities, and they were very spacious and comfortable. As advertised, breakfast was included with our room. The morning manager and entire staff were very accommodating, kind, and struck up pleasant conversation. The bazaar was conveniently located nearby. The atmosphere made this an epic experience, and it was humbling to be able to participate in the rich culture and community. I am very grateful for this experience.

Great balcony with fantastic view of Argyrokastro. Dont have opinion about the rooms or food. We enjoyed coffee with local dessert with cream, fig and cinnamon.

I was a month before in hotel kodra and i had a great experience. I had a great dinner in the restaurant. Great service, delicious food and wonderful view. The old waiter made as some good suggestions like: Qifqi, Shapkat, Risoto with vegetables and my favorite Lamp Paidhaqe. But something i didnt liked was the lady in the reception. So unprofessional. Smoking while she was talking with me, eating in front of the guests, speaking loudly and laughing. The room was clean and i had a great night while sleeping in those comfortable beds. I highly recommend hotel kodra and i hope to see you again.

We went to eat at the restaurant only. The food was good and there was a good selection of nice local dishes. The portions were big and the waitress took into account our individual requests.
The view is really nice, we went there during sunset.

Been to the restaurant and enjoyed the beautiful view over Gjirokastër. Food was delicous and the pricing for the quality very good. The young waiter serving us did a great job and was very friendly.

Beautiful location to enjoy Gjirokastra old town and castle views! Very good service and a large choice of traditional food and drinks! Parking at the site was an extra feature given that the historic area is accessible only by foot! The restaurant was close to the historic area and the "Qafa e Pazarit" where the main steeets of the Gjirokastra Historic Sites cross each other!

Hi, I have been in Gjirokaster a lot of times,and in few different Hotels, but the best Hotel for me is Hotel Kodra 🏨 is very nice and clean, have the best Service and the best Food. The Staff are very friendly. From Hotel Kodra you have the best view, so you can see the Castle and the old City of Gjirokaster. The best place to go with your family,if you want to have some nice time and to relax

We were passing through the city and someone recommended the restaurant. We ordered pizza for the 4yo, the chicken in lemon sauce, and the beef fillet in a mushroom cream sauce. Both the latter melted in your mouth and the service was great.

However the real reason for this review is for the great help they were to me before I got to the restautant! Between road repairs and Google maps sending us to an impassable street, our car got stuck and it could not move forward or backwards. The hotel sent help. He was able to free the car and led us safely to the restaurant where he parked the car for us. When we decided to stay the night, they were booked but helped us find accommodations.

I am truly grateful for their concern and help outside of just business. The added bonus, was that the food was great too! Not sure what the rooms look like, but I would recommend them based on service and food!

I've only been to the restaurant, never the hotel, but the restaurant was fantastic. The building is beautiful and cozy and in a lovely spot, and the food is great. Usually when the quality is so high, the quantity suffers, but not here. I left every morning barely able to walk. Top notch!

This place is fantastic. Our service coming in was great as our attendant offered to carry our bags in. Once inside our room we noticed how extraordinary the view is . Completely breath taking. The bed was exquisite and we felt so at home. It was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever experienced. Customer service was well above average and the staff really took the time to tend to our extra needs. So thankful for such a beautiful stay 💛

The hidden gem of Gjirokastra City. Very good service. I love the view of this place. If you haven't never been there, then must go as soon as possible . Perfect place. I hightly recommend it.

Nice view from old town. Great location if you want to be in old town with restaurant cafe, etc. The playground is falling apart and should be updated though.

Chefs salad and pizza special tasted good. (They also have paulaner weissbier)

Nice people and open space for kids to spin around! Superb breakfast!
