My recent stay at Guesthouse Freskia in Theth was nothing short of magical. Tucked away amidst the stunning Albanian Alps, this guesthouse offers a truly authentic and heartwarming experience.

The first thing that struck me was the warm hospitality of the hosts. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms, and it felt like being part of a family rather than just a guest. The owners, who are also your hosts, go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

The guesthouse itself is charming, with cozy rooms that provide all the necessary amenities while keeping the rustic ambiance of the region. The breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains from the guesthouse's terrace are something I'll cherish forever.

The food at Guesthouse Freskia deserves a special mention. It's a delightful blend of traditional Albanian dishes and homemade specialties. Don't miss the opportunity to savor their delicious meals prepared with fresh, local ingredients.

Great location and welcoming staff

Abbiamo passato due notti in una delle stanze della guesthouse. La struttura è un ottimo punto d appoggio per le attività vicine avendo a disposizione un’auto ( passeggiata al centro di Teth e trekking al Blue Eye). È un’impresa a conduzione familiare. Sono stati molto gentili e attenti alle nostre esigenze. Colazione con frittelle, crêpes, marmellate e formaggio locale. Vista magnifica. Consigliato!

Ein traumhafter Ort an dem wir zwei Nächte mit unserem Wohnmobil verbracht haben. Ein wunderschöner Blick vom Stellplatz und eine absolut liebenswerte Gastgeberfamilie. Die kombinierten WCs bzw. Duschen sind zwar nichts für Feinfühlige, uns hat dies aber nichts ausgemacht. Teilweise gab es auch ein wenig Probleme mit dem Strom, was in dieser abgelegenen Lage aber einfach passieren kann. Wir haben dort auch zweimal sehr gut und günstig albanische Hausmannskost gegessen, die von der Gatsgeberin selber gekocht wurde. Uns hat es sehr gefallen, deswegen auch 5 Sterne.

Im Theth Nationalpark der Albanischen Alpen ist das Guesthouse Freskia eine der wenigen Stellen, die man auf der Ruga-Gjecaj-Road nach Theth anlaufen kann, wenn man eine Bewirtung sucht. Auf der Zeltwiese sitzt man hoch über Theth und wird durch grandiose Ausblicke und ein einheimisches Mittagsmal mit einem Willkommensschnaps belohnt. Es gab Hefeauflauf mit Fleischfüllung vom Schweinekopf, Zwiebeln, Tomaten und Gewürzen. Ganz cross im Rohr gebacken, dazu Ziegenjogurth mit Rahmhaut. Ein unvergleichliches Geschmackserlebnis auf der Panoramawiese mitten im NP, umgeben von so vielen hohen 2000er und 3000er Gipfeln.

Super nice family, well Maintained camp and clean rooms, just further from the town which is not ideal if you don’t got a car.

Wir waren hier 3 Nächte im Gästehaus, sehr nette Besitzer die bis Mitternacht warteten bis wir ankamen, sehr sehr spartanisch eingerichtet ..aber sauber, eigenes Bad war modernisiert und somit völlig ok, Albanisches Frühstück war gut und handgemacht von der Familie, Ausblick ist einfach fantastisch, Lage ist perfekt für alle die mit dem Auto anreisen, da etwas außerhalb gelegen, leider kamen wir nicht in den Genuss ein Abendessen hier zu genießen da es hieß es wird nicht gekocht... als wir zurück kamen wurden dann doch einige bekocht -Schade!, am Wochenende ist der Campingplatz randvoll ,sehr hellhörig Zimmer, Wir würden trotz 1 ,2 Mankos aufjedenfall wieder kommen

Nos quedamos solo una noche en una de las habitaciones. La habitación está limpia y es simple, no está bien insonorizada y se escucha ruido cada vez que los de arriba caminaban. Las vistas son increíbles y hay un pequeño bar en el que sirven desayuno y cena. La cena (13€ por persona) me parece un poco cara pero el desayuno estuvo bien. La familia que lo lleva es simpática pero les falta oficio (un poco desorganizados y no sabían que, por ejemplo, en Theth puedes poner gasolina).
