Travel North Albania

I travelled from Valbone to Shköder with the Travel North Albania company and it was a great experience. The drivers were very nice and helpful, professional and had a lot of experience. I was very impressed with their great driving skills! Even though the road was was winding and rough with potholes, they drove so carefully you could hardly feel the bumps and curves. I felt safe and comfortable. And they always arrived at the destination early (which is important to get to the ferry early because outdoor seating is limited and it’s on first come-first served basis) Also the bus/vans were spacious and comfortable. I will definitely book with Travel North Albania when I return to Albania.

We contacted Travel North Albania to get help for our transport from Tirana to Theth because we could not reach the public minibus in Shkoder, which is leaving early in the morning. The response was instantly and the communication excellent. We took a public bus from Tirana to Shkoder and a driver picked up from the bus stop. The driver was responsible and careful. The service was brilliant at reasonable price. Rivio stayed in contact with us all the time to ensure that everything went fine. We can absolutely recommend the company.

I went on a day tour to the River Shala from Shkoder and it was an amazing experience.

I was the only person on this trip. It was a combination of minivan, car and boat trip. There was no tour guide per se, but the beauty of nature speaks for itself. I was looked after by the drivers and also ‘remotely’ by WhatsApp messages every step of the way.

The tourist season hasn’t started and many of the lodges were not opened for business. Mode might change in summer.

I really enjoyed the trip and would certainly recommend it.
