Rockpool Motor Inn South West Rocks

Thank you to the management and staff for a very relaxing and enjoyable 3 nights! We had two rooms over Christmas, very clean spacious rooms, beautiful restaurant with amazing food!! Friendly and welcoming management and staff. The pool was so nice to relax in on the hot days or after our morning walk. Perfectly positioned just outside retail hub and walking distance to Club, Beach, Shops. Underground parking and so much more. Highly recommend and will definitely be back ☺

Excellent accommodation with larger rooms very nicely furnished.

Lovely large outdoor patio furnished with umbrellas and patio furniture to enjoy a drink or two.

We haved stayed here for a few years in a row and love it.The location is great. The managers are wonderful and bend over backwards to help. Very family friendly. We will be back.

Stayed one night (23.04.2023) and would recommend. Very helpful and friendly staff. Quiet location.
Stayed in 'accessible' room. Large bathroom (wet room) with fold down seat and hand held shower, perfect for disabled person. Room very clean and comfortable. Main bed was soft, single bed suited me better, had a good night's sleep in it.

Manager was so helpful and friendly made you feel very welcome. Probably the happiest hotel manager i've ever met. Rooms are very spacious and clean. We didn't eat at the restaurant but the menu looked lovely and I even managed a quick dip in the pool. A nice walk into town not to close that it's hectic but not to far away that you have to drive so we loved the location. Will definitely stay again.

We had a couple of days in Southwest Rocks and stayed at the Rockpool Motor Inn.

It's such a lovely place. Everything was spotless , I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to my friends.

A hidden gem! Enjoyed our two-night stay last month. Our room was spacious for a motel, very clean with comfortable bed for good night's rest, quiet air conditioning, kitchenette and well-designed bathroom with dispensers for soap, shampoo etc. The on-site bar and restaurant offered excellent meals. Located in a quiet location a few blocks from beach and shops. Friendly staff and we appreciated fresh milk on arrival. There is secure undercover parking.

We enjoyed our stay at Rockpool. The king spa room was very comfortable and having a kitchenette was a bonus. The room was well presented and very clean. The covered and secure parking was also great to have. The on site managers were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The motel is an easy stroll into town. Highly recommended.

Instant 10/10. They were super helpful, friendly and accommodating. The food was great (I had the pork belly and apple pastries) and the waitress was lovely. Overall great setup. Shame I was only there for work and staying 1 night. I'd highly recommend this place and hope to return again soon!

Loved our overnight stays on the way to, and back from Brisbane. We look forward to going back for a few more days to explore the area.
Di and Fred are wonderful hosts and we had a lovely dinner in their restaurant. Compliments to the chef and staff who went out of their way to help with dietary requirements.
Will definitely be back!

Just one tip,,,, Phone the motel direct, and you'll get a good discount.
Stays,, bookings.c,,,,, all take a fee, so book it yourself. It's not hard to talk on the phone, is it.🤣
Maybe they could get an outdoor BBQ, for guests , otherwise, spoton.👍

Friendly and accommodating staff. Fantastic amenities and rooms extremely clean. Fabulous food at restaurant. Fantastic location. One of the best motels I have ever stayed at. Will definitely stay again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, room was very clean. We had dinner at the restaurant, food was incredible and again staff were exceptionally friendly. Best sirloin steak we had eaten.

I stayed at the Rockpool Motor Inn while servicing the North coast during the NSW Flood disaster, and to be honest it was the best motel I’ve ever stayed at. At check in the service was warm and friendly. My room was great, the bed was amazing and the shower pressure was really good.
The staff in the restaurant were fantastic, best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. They were very professional and took the time to make everyone feel comfortable and happy.

The staff were great and food was excellent

I stay in hotels all the time. Rockpool was such a delightful place to stay I wanted to recommend it here to others. The room was clean, extremely comfortable and had all the essentials a traveller needs. I slept SO well on a comfortable bed with fresh pillows that weren't as flat as a pancake. Unlike a lot of hotels, here are the things Rockpool did really well:

1) Location - South West Rocks is a wonderful coastal town and Rockpool is walking distance to the beach.

2) Friendliness and personal attention - the owners run the place and they care - it shows.

3) The room (room 16) was super clean and comfortable.

4) A new, strong airconditioning unit.

5) A big, modern TV with casting, Internet access, etc.

6) WATER PRESSURE in the shower - and it was hot!

7) Easy parking and access.

8) A good restaurant (although I didn't eat there many locals said it's good).

9) Old school hospitality.

10) Power points accessible next to the bed. Oh how I wish big hotel chains did this. Who would have thought in 2021 we all wanted to charge our phones next to the bed.

Thank you Rockpool - I will stay with you again when next in town.
