Hotham Hotel

A few weeks ago, I was up at the Hotham hotel, and I ordered the pork schnitzel, and it was cooked well and tasted yummy 😊 and the staff were fantastic. Awesome music,The DJ. Was playing my kind of music 🎶 I really enjoyed my time there. Thanks guys

Fantastic Prawn and Chilli pizza.

Stopping by to get a bite before went skiing. Ordered chips, chicken wings and calamari. The wings and calamari were OK, but the chicken wings is too acidic for me. Too loud music, but they do have beautiful view from the resto.

A good place for a drink and a meal. The food is hot. The drinks are cold (other than the hot drinks obviously). The process are reasonable. And the staff are warm and attentive.

Everyone staying at Players Lodge on 31/08/23 was kept up until 4.30am by the wonderful staff of this establishment who are housed at Dolomite ski club. Speakers, lights, who knows what illicit substances… it was a proper rave. People complain that there’s not enough staff accommodation in Hotham, but look at how it’s abused by those who are provided it. Enjoy being looked after during your stay by this mob who are clearly given total free reign by the hotel with no regard for the rest of resort.

My recent visit to Hotham Hotel left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. While the food was passable, the abysmal behavior and utter rudeness of the staff overshadowed any positive aspects. I can confidently say that I will never step foot in this restaurant again. The management of Hotham Hotel urgently needs to address their exceptionally rude staff, as their actions were completely unacceptable.

Despite the mediocre food, the way we were treated by the staff left a lasting negative impression. It was shocking and appalling when a staff member decided to clear our table while we were still in the middle of enjoying our meal. This blatant disregard for basic customer courtesy was a clear reflection of the overall attitude and professionalism demonstrated by the restaurant's employees.

It is beyond disappointing that the management at Hotham Hotel has allowed such rude and disrespectful behavior to persist among their staff. It is their responsibility to ensure that guests are treated with respect and receive attentive service throughout their visit. Unfortunately, this was not the case during my time at the restaurant.

Based on my experience, I strongly advise against dining at Hotham Hotel. The unpleasant encounter with the staff has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I have no desire to subject myself to such treatment in the future. The management must take immediate action to rectify this issue and instill a higher standard of professionalism and customer service within their establishment.

I cannot emphasize enough how detrimental the presence of rude staff can be to the overall dining experience. I sincerely hope that the management of Hotham Hotel takes these criticisms seriously and implements significant changes to improve the behavior and attitude of their staff members.

In conclusion, I strongly discourage anyone from visiting Hotham Hotel until substantial improvements are made in the management of their staff and the overall customer experience.

Horrible place for food. We had pumpkin and chicken soup, chicken pizza, Gnocchi, chicken pie, none of them were tasting good. Soups were served in takeaway glasses eventhough we were dinning in. Pies were cold. Only thing is good & great views to have drinks. Never visit this place again.

Immature staff members, we’re on phones whilst taking our order, when we asked why the heaters weren’t on as it was freezing a staff member aggressively told us they were broken and it wasn’t their problem, we later found out the heaters weren’t broken just turned off, music was extremely loud considering we and 3 other people were in the restaurant, also would have appreciated some lighting felt like they were closing up at 7:00pm when it clearing states on the website they close at 1:00am we understand it is the last week of season but no excuse for poor customer service will definitely be visiting falls creek instead next season such an unwelcoming environment.

Very filthy place , very rude and abusive staff and very poor customer service
They are showing racist behaviour towards customers.They are abusing the customers and then asking them to leave the place.
