Oranje Tractor Wines

Safe to say this is our favourite winery in the region. The owners have done a wonderful job of creating a perfectly relaxed and peaceful environment. Their love for their natural produce and nature in general is evident from their quality wine, to their beautiful landscape, as well as their spectacular taste vintage in furniture decor. Badminton is a must. Highly recommend to everyone to stop in to taste all they offer and soak up the surrounds.

Do not visit Albany and miss this place! The farm is so pretty and the cellar door is quirky and wonderful. Thoroughly recommend the tasting session with paired nibbles. Some of the best riesling we've had. Murray the owner gave us a great introduction to organic growing. Thank you!

Murray is an awesome guy who's very knowledgeable about growing fruit trees and Wines. Pat, his better half is the brains behind the operation. (Just kidding Murray). Thanks for the great lunch and afternoon. Hope you get your Airbnb or b&b going.

Must visit this beautiful farm for a wine tasting if you re around Albany! Their Vermouth is absolutely the best.

Not only are the wines delicious (check out the Pinot blushed Rosé) but the vineyard is now net carbon negative and organic. Winning on every front. Don't miss it if you are down Albany way. Pam and Murray will look after you.

If you want to better understand organic viniculture and organic farming in general, then this is a wonderful way to start. Murray's passion for the land and what he and Pam are doing here is infectious.
Their wines are very good (as evidenced by their numerous awards) and they were presented to us with matching local produce.
Murray provided a well rounded package of wine tasting, food and education.
Worth wandering in if you're in the area and have an hour or two to spare.

Friends and I stumbled across this gorgeous winery on our recent trip to Albany. Even Prince Charles and Camilla have visited! The host, Murray, was gracious, well-informed and delightful and made our wine tasting experience the best we've ever had! They’ve won prizes for their wine. Sparking Sav Blanc was our fav, although we loved a few more. We even got to choose our own glass from his incredible collection of treasures. Be sure to book ahead. $5 for tasting, redeemable if you make a purchase. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Probably the best winery experience I’ve had, and I’ve been around. Oranje Tractor is a small winery creating amazingly complex wines and organic produce that will leave you sated and your tastebuds tingling.

Murray shared so much knowledge and local experience. Highly recommend the wine flight with matched food tastings at a ridiculously low price of $25.

What was going to be a quick glass of wine became a leisurely afternoon spent enjoying the magnificent garden surrounds and company of the owner.

Don’t miss it when you’re in the area.

Love this place. Stopped in for an impromptu tasting and ended up leaving with 12 bottles of various wines. Their Vermouth is pretty great. Brought it to a weekend getaway with 4 bartender friends and it went down a treat.

We were doing the big lap as Grey Nomads a few years back and we had a fabulous stay at Oranje Tractor Winery as Wwoofers, Pam, Murray and Merlo were wonderful hosts and we had a fascinating stay learning different aspects of wine making and general farm duties. We were also able to meet, work and dine with international travelers and the four week experience will always be one of our favorite distinations for our trip.

Orange Tractor is lush and quaint and people say the wine is excellent.
(I don't drink alcohol.)
Murray and Pam are fine hosts and they always have interesting workers.

I was originally unsure whether or not to bother going to this small winery but since I went, I now always recommend it to everyone visiting the area. The host was a wonderful person and every wine I tried was superb yet very affordable.

Beautiful winery run by a lovely couple. The cellar, offering Riesiling, Pinot and Shiraz, is surrounded by citrus and fruit trees. Definitely worth a visit.
