There is a lot of history in the small town of Foča. During the WW2, the headquarters of the partisan army operated there for a short time, and during the Patriotic War of 1992-1995, the city suffered again. It is worth visiting their only museum, which has a collection of photographs and a few other artifacts, including cloth footwear worn by the partisans during the cold winter at almost minus 30 degrees.
