Camp by Tent Sarajevo

This is a camping for adventurers and those who appreciate nature. Up a steep mountain, it sits on a densely forested incline. Don’t be afraid of the occasional bug in your shoe! There is no running water, you can use rainwater collected by the owner to wash up. The owner is very kind and gregarious, willing to show you how everything works, and even offered to let us charge our devices in his house. He also gifted us two gallons of mineral water for personal use.
Definitely reach out to Selim (owner) before you come so he can help you find the place. It is nestled deep in the mountains but the walk there is very very beautiful (steep though, bring appropriate shoes!)
We had 3 magical nights here enjoying being amongst nature.

If words like sustainability, primitivism and self-sufficiency spark your interest, this might be the right place for you.

This campsite is definitely not for everyone. Do not expect a conventional campsite. The host has arranged for a very rudimentary camping site with a stunning view on the top of a mountain next to Sarajevo. It might be a little difficult to reach and find, but well worth the trouble.

You pitch your tent between the trees in the forest on which the property is located. It's ideal for backpackers, bikepackers or camping trips by car. Just don't expect to take a vehicle up to the pitch.

As of the time of writing this review, the facilities are very rudimentary. It's still a work in progress, but don't expect hot showers or fresh drinking water to be available. Everything is set up to be as environmentally conscious as possible, such as collecting rainwater for use and composting waste.

Our stay here turned out to be a truly unique and memorable experience. After a long and arduous journey, we were in need of a friendly face. We found just that up on this mountain.

The host is a beautiful human being who will receive you with a warm embrace, and exerts a genuine interest in his guests. Selim took the time to enlighten us about Bosnia's culture and contemporary history. I've rarely met a host more friendly and involved. His talks about history, philosophy and theology kept us thinking throughout next travels.

If you're looking for a unique place in touch with nature, give Selim a call. You will not be disappointed.

Camp a Tent is cyclist friendly project, here I got a nice place to camp in the nature, the host was opened for anything I could need. What to expect: breathe clean air, wherever you look there are thousands of trees, see the stars and moon at night, interesting conversations, ...Since it is on the mountain there is a hill so make sure you get what you need from stores or supermarkets before going up.

great campsite to relax and Selim was very polite with my family. We have a barbicue and good night sleep.

Very nice place. Shower is fun. The common area is noce done. The view on the mountains is really amainzing.

The place was without electricity, nor a bathroom, now wifi off course. Also, there was nobody there, so I can't go out to see the city, because there was anybody from Camp watching my stuffs. Extrange experience to me, In my oppinion is not the best option for a biker who look for a place to rest.
