Kizlaraga Mosque

Kizlaraga Mosque is a significant historical locations, this mosque was built in the Middle Ages and because of that there was built 24 craft stores and lot of other things in the immediate vicinity "handicraft center, what is the main reason for the formation of settlement on this territory and the formation of this municipality in later age.

Mosque was built by Kizlar Aga Đukanović, which is 1593 years at the current territory of Mrkonjić Grad raised his endowment (vakuf).
Kizlar Aga Đukanović is originally from this area and during the Ottoman Empire he's like a child taken as "devşirme" (danak u krvi) and he was taken to Constantinople (Istanbul).
Unfortunately mosque was destroyed in the last war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but now is built new modeled on the old style, which is in the stage of completion.
