There is a large field in the middle of the school. There are about 50 rooms in this school. There are many large trees in and around the school. The security of the school is enough for every student. Morning shift starts at 7.15 am and breaks up at 11.30am and Day shifts starts at 12.00 pm and breaks up at 5.15pm. ১৯৬৪ খ্রিষ্টাব্দে তৎকালীন মহকুমা প্রশাসক জনাব আবদুস সোবহান মহোদয়ের সার্বিক সহযোগিতায় ও তৎকালীন পৌরসভা চেয়ারম্যান জনাব আজিজুর রহমান মোল্লা, মুন্সী আবদুল কাদির সহ শহরের অন্যান্য গণ্যমান্য ব্যক্তিবর্গের একান্ত প্রচেষ্টায় ব্রাহ্মণবাড়িয়াস্থ কান্দিপাড়া জামে মসজিদ সংলগ্ন মাঠে বিদ্যালয়টি সর্বপ্রথম প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক রূপ নেয় এবং তখনকার গভর্নিং বডির চেয়ারম্যান ছিলেন আজিজুর রহমান মোল্লা। বিদ্যালয়টির নাম মহকুমা প্রশাসক মহোদয় ও উনার সহধর্মিনীর নামে “সাবেরা সোবহান বালিকা উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়” নামকরণ করা হয়।

তৎকালীন প্রাক্তন জমিদার চন্নু মিয়া সাহেবের ছেলে (কাজীপাড়া) জনাব এনায়েত উল্লাহ সাহেব প্রথম প্রধান শিক্ষক হিসেবে নিয়োগপ্রাপ্ত হন। পরবর্তীতে, জনাব আজিজুর রহমান মোল্লা ও বাবু উমেষ বনিক এর প্রচেষ্টায় বর্তমান স্থানে বিদ্যালয়টিকে স্থানান্তর করা হয় এবং ১০ম শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত চালু করা হয়। ১৯৭০খ্রিঃ সনের ১ ফেব্রুয়ারি বিদ্যালয়টি (৬ষ্ঠ - ১০ম শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত) জাতীয়করণ করা হয়।

২০১০খ্রিঃ সনে বর্তমান সরকার বিদ্যালয়টিতে ডাবল শিফট চালু করে। বর্তমানে দিবা শিফটে ১২টি শাখা ও প্রভাতী শিফটে ১০টি শাখা চালু আছে। সহকারী শিক্ষকের পদ সংখ্যা ৪৯টি, সহকারী প্রধান শিক্ষকের পদ সংখ্যা ২টি এবং প্রধান শিক্ষকের পদ সংখ্যা ১টি। বিদ্যালয়টি U আকারের ত্রিতল ভবন বিশিষ্ট।

বিদ্যালয়ের অভ্যন্তরে একটি খেলার মাঠ রয়েছে। মাঠের উত্তর-পূর্ব কোণে বাগানের পাশে একটি শহীদ মিনার রয়েছে।

বিদ্যালয়টি শহরের স্টেশন রোডে অবস্থিত।
