De Plakker

We had dinner there and ordered a really fabulous steak with bearnaise sauce, which came with a small salad and fries, as well as the Chef's Burger... pricey, but well worth it!

Drinks were the exceptional house draft beer (blonde version) - beware, it packs a punch - and a hot chocolate (it was very cold when we visited).

Dessert was the Dame Blanche (icre cream with hot chocolate sauce) - yummy!

If you are planning to visit, it may be worth booking, as they are very busy, especially Fridays and Saturdays. Popular with locals, it appears they have plenty of repeat business, which is unsurprising, given the excellent menu options (we had eaten there previously, so knew what to expect).

I recently had the pleasure of dining at De Plakker, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The food was not only good but exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, and I felt well taken care of throughout my visit. However, what truly stood out was the amazing gentleman who served me. As someone from the UK visiting for a while, the warmth and friendliness I encountered at De Plakker were truly refreshing. The staff was incredibly helpful, making my dining experience memorable. I highly recommend De Plakker for its delicious food, great service, and the exceptional hospitality extended by their staff.

Ik bezocht dit restaurant onlangs en was onder de indruk van de uitstekende bediening. Het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en attent, waardoor de eetervaring zeer aangenaam was. De menukeuze bood een scala aan heerlijke opties.

Een minpuntje is echter het ontbreken van een website. Het zou handig zijn als gasten vooraf online het menu konden bekijken om zich alvast te verheugen op de culinaire verrassingen die het restaurant te bieden heeft. Desondanks blijft de kwaliteit van de service en het eten zeker de moeite waard voor een bezoek.

Endroit bien agréable , cosy . Personnel sympa à votre écoute, Belle carte et très bonnes suggestions(suivant les saisons). Les pâtes du mois TOP. Les plats sont généreux . que du bonheur.

Een verademing in hartje veurne!
Mooi uitzicht, Leuke bediening, veel keuze en héél lekkere steak! Iets duurder dan normaal meer dat is het waard. Voor de rest: niets op aan te merken.

Ik wij hebben er héél lekker gegeten, sympathieke garcon, top service. Zeker teruggaan!!!

Ruime kaart, grote porties en perfect gebakken brochette. Ideale plek voor een lekker etentje in het pittoreske centrum van Veurne. Ik kom zeker terug!

Vandaag een snelle lunch hier gehad . Een echte aanrader !
