Church of Our Lady of Victories at the Sablon

Splendid gothic exterior featuring many statues, details, decoration, chapels, towers and architectural elements. I imagine it’s even more beautiful while illuminated at night. Sadly we didn’t have time to visit the interior, but it’s on the list for next time!

This church is full of so many beautiful stained glass windows! If you visit on a sunny day, you’ll get to see rays of colorful lights illuminate the columns!

I have experience the church as a very soothing place. The hanging Jesus on the cross from the ceiling reminded me of the church in Barcelona - Sagrada Familia.

The cathedral glass were very beautiful specially the sun way shining . The details to the art on the cathedral glass were very fabulous. Kinda magical walking to through the church.

My favorite was the statue of our Lady of Victorie - she gave you a warm welcoming feeling .

I would recommend to stop by if you have a bit of a love of churches and their architectures.

It is a remarkable late Gothic church. Both the exterior and interior are fascinating. There are eleven stained-glass windows, each measuring 15 meters long. In my opinion, this is one of the most beautiful churches in Brussels.

It was a rainy day, and as we came in, some men started singing. The chills were immediate. The inscriptions in Latin were easy to read as well, as they were saying that she is our only hope and similar comments.

An impressive gothic architecture dating from 15th century. Really impressive stained glass windows with stunning paintings which look almost alive. Take your time to go through the paintings, they are worth admiring. There is a beautiful pulpit, a huge organ and baroque chapels to complement the gothic style. Equally impressive and detailed carvings from outside too. Very calm and peaceful to sit inside.

Beautiful church and the antique market in the back is a must visit.

One of the most beautiful pieces of architecture you’ll see. The grandeur is stunning. Like you would see in the movies. Truly awe inspiring and convenient to the local spots to eat and shop. There is a garden close by as well. We didn’t get time to go inside, tickets are required and we were in town but a limited about of time.

Lovely church, sadly didn't get to go in as it wasn't open on the date we visited, however just the outside was amazing to experience as a tourist.

There is a bunch of things surrounding the church too if you are wanting something to do whilst looking at the church. 100% worth a visit!

Beautiful gothique cathedral with wonderful stained glass windows in Sablon quarter devoted to Saint Mary of the victories of Sablon. Two magnificent baroque capels inside. There are also many coats of arms of nobel families that patronized the church.

If you’re looking for a place where to relax and read some novels or whatever, this coffee shop would be the best. They have the best coffee available and even some fresh baked goods as well.

Beautiful church, representing Brabantine Gothic and one of the best examples of the Flamboyant form of Gothic in the entire Belgium.
