And if there is one thing missing in Belgium according to Australians? It is good coffee!
When Emily met Eddie whilst backpacking Australia she fell in love, both with him and his amazing part of the world.
Eddie grew up in between the vineyards of Margaret River, a wine region in the South-West, or according to Emily, Paradise!
Emily started to share Eddie's passion for the grape juice.
They went traveling together, discovered new places and learned a lot more about wine.
After settling in Belgium they had the dream of sharing their passion and bring to you the charm of an Australian coffee shop by day and a unique wine experience by night.

Very cosy atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff. Delicious, fresh and home made food. Eddie and Emily are great hosts with an extended product knowledge. Skippy’s really adds value to your customer wine/food/dessert experience. We love this place!

Cozy, tasty and welcoming. Skippy’s is located close to the Sint-Niklaas Stadhuis. The place offers quite some flavors from Australia. We tried the coffee which had a perfect aroma. The tea latte is also good, but can be extra sugary for some. We also tried the Australian steak pie which is a must try(salad bowl is extra). The owner is a very friendly person and you can always ask him advice on the coffee or a wine you like to try.

Had an amazing experience @Skippy's! Excellent wine, it paired great with the custom made cheese and meat platter (contained some pieces kangaroo jerky!). I enjoyed the Caramelised onion and chilli paste so much I just had to ask for a refill. Can't wait to explore the indoor area when covid-regulations allow it!

Best Coffee in the city. I have tried many places that serve coffee in this region but nothing comes close to the sheer quality of the coffee served here.

The owner is fun to have a chat with and really hands on with his business. Typical quest giver in a videogame if that makes sense.

We found this cafe when touring around the town for our house search. We enjoyed a nice cappuccino and a few Australian snacks (Mediterranean roll and salmon meat pie - both delicious)! The atmosphere was cozy and they offered a unique experience. This would be a nice place to enjoy a coffee or wine & tapas! The owners were lovely to talk to, well travelled, and gave a lot of insight and advice for our search. We will be back one day to try some of the local beers they were talking about!
