C'est bon C'est belge

Came here for dinner recently. delicious food, good prices and very nice casual vibe in the restaurant. Very nice staff.

The service is fast but still really friendly.
The atmosphere is great. It is situated in a historical building in a little street near the Énglise Notre-Dame and with a good view.
The food is well made and truly Belgian and, of course, you can also taste some refreshing beers.
Great Carbonnade!

Restaurant specializing in high level Belgian food. Excellent location in the middle of Brussels, just in walking distance from the central station. Top service speaking any language we tried. Fast service. Amazing food. Total experience.

We liked it a lot. The food was great, we had carbonnade and it was very delicious. Price was ok for the Bruxelles. The staff was very friendly and the place was nice. We recommend to visit this place if you are in Bruxelles.

We had an incredible meal on New Year Eve dinner! The service was great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was festive. The 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our evening!

I tried to go one day but it was closed (even though on Google said they were open) but the next day I went back once I have a friend recommendation. Local food, well prepared and fair price. Attention of staff is the main detail as they adapt to different languages ​​and are kind to recommend a dish or beer (short but sensational menu). You can find in the photo my recommendation, but from October onwards, I need to come back for Belgian endives (chicory). Restaurant Recommended!!!

Got the €22 Mix Traditional Platter:
- vegatable and potato Stoemp Saucisses (in this small portion version it's bacon like) was my favourite. The stoemp was very smooth and just morish and the meat bits were a nice extra concistency and flavour.
- Les Boulettes (meatball) sauce tomate
It has a strong origano flavour which I like (but might not be for everybody) and it was a nice balance to the rest of the meal.
- Carbonades a la Biere (beef beer stew)
It was good. The meat was not too tender and it had a caramel taste from the beer, which I don't go crazy for (just personal taste, don't drink and like alcohol).
- Le Waterzooi de Poulet (chicken stew)
Very tender and homey, it had a delicate taste.
The great thing of getting this Mix Platter is being able to try the different traditional dishes from Belgium, a few bites at a time.
I will definitely go back :-)

Ordered “chicken waterzooi” and “carbonnade” . Everything was very delicious!!! The price is good, all staffs were very kind and place is very cozy. I recommend 100%. It is the best place in town to have carbonnade.

We had quite a memorable and lovely dinner thanks to their wonderful staff - all the staff we had the pleasure of even making eye contact were nice and professional. The food was also "(très) bon" as the name suggests and the atmosphere was charming.
We originally planned to visit Bruxelles (and Köln) back in 2019 and set the date to May 2020 but had to cancel everything due to you-know-what. So, we were already happy just to be able to visit Bruxelles at last but the dinner at C'est bon C'est belge was the cherry on top.

First timer in Brussels, went to this quaint small restaurant with good outdoor seating. With no Belgium food experience I accepted the waiter's recommendation and took the combo made of 5 local dishes, each one of them was great, and a great Belgium beer I didn't know before (le fort). Highly recommended, great place, great service.

for starter we ordered Platter of Belgian cheeses 5/5, nice cheese selection with the wine.
we've ordered La liégeoise for the salad 5/5, love this warm salad as it has potatoes, French beans, bacon, shallots, vinegar.
forthe main we've ordered "C'est si Bon!" combo platter 5/5, it has a small portion of their best sellers, our favorite was the Carbonnade, I would come back for it.
totally recommend this place to try the best of Belgian food.

Amazing food and friendly staff .. a must stop in Brussels: la Carbonnade Flamande (Flemish beef stew in a dark beer sauce), Stoemp (typical Brussels dish of mashed potatoes and veggies with sausage) and of course a LeFort triple beer 🤤

I had the liegeoise meatballs and they were amazing. Just like I remember them. Their beer selection is quite good. I had the Geuze. The service was great even if the place was PACKED. I would certainly come back.
