This is an amazing hotel. The service from the staff was second to none. The room had a huge terrace and well appointed bathroom. I ate in the restaurant which was very good quality and good value. Its right in the centre of town, you can park in the market square easily. A characterful and cosy well run hotel. Highly recommended

Hotel de la Paix in Poperinge is an ideal location for exploring Flanders.
The Hotel offers rooms of amazing taste and spotlessly clean.
Also the meals are equally great as are the staff.

Their lunchtime special of Tomato Soup and Spare ribs (not served together!) was outstanding. The staff are really friendly and helpful, even to Brits unlike the French!

Nice modern hotel, and the restaurant was exceptional. The summer tasting menu came packaged with our room and, between my wife and I, we were able to taste all of the offerings. Everything they served was delicious! Good selection of local beers as well.

Wow! This is hotel perfection! A beautiful suite for our family of four. Staff are so welcoming, friendly and kind. The restaurant is outstanding with delicious food and a marvelous range of drinks. Breakfast was lovely. Highly, highly recommended!

We went for a meal here in 2015, I meant to write a review then but only thought about it when my wife and I were discussing the best restaurants we have been to over 35 years, this one is right up there as being memorable, we visited as my grandfather then aged 18 spent his first night in Poperinge in 1916 so the whole area felt special. The meal was absolutely fantastic and so were the staff, we initially thought that the steaks were a bit small, however the waiter came back with 2 more large steaks, the chef wanted to make sure that they were cooked to our liking. The whole atmosphere was memorable. A very big thank you and apologies for not writing this review sooner.

If you're visiting the WW1 battlefields etc Poperinge is centrally located point and is a friendly, cheerful place with good restaurants, bars and shopping.

Center of town. Very welcoming and accommodating. The room was modern, spacious, and comfortable.

Hotel and checkin were absolutely fine and way above average. The real jewel here is the kitchen! The food and in particular the sauces were Michelin star level. Make the effort and seek this place out.

I've stayed in this hotel twice now and it is a lovely,clean,well managed hotel owned by a lady the rooms are set out with warmth and personality rather than just designed to make money and its situated in the middle of poperinge where they have a old style market on a Friday morning.

Such a lovely place! Very friendly staff and from the interior design until the way how to prepare breakfast, passion for the detail. We will definitely be back!
