Earlier this year my wife, daughter, and I found ourselves in Damme on a bike ride out of Brugge. Looking for food options we stumbled upon this place, and got truly fantastic sandwiches. One of the day's highlights.
Just last week I was driving through Belgium and made a short detour to Damme on the way to Brugge. I was disappointed to arrive after opening hours, otherwise I would have bought another fantastic sandwich!

The only available option if you don't want to spend your lunch in a restaurant o bistro.
Excellent sandwiches at reasonable prices, and more delicacies that you can have at the church yard, for example. The owner is very kind and helpful.

Great bread, pastries, prepared foods, cheese and meat. I think they make sandwiches. Other prepared foods are there. The shopkeeper is competent and kind. Best food by far in the area for getting together lunch. You can’t sit and eat there, but take your meal home or into the beautiful scenery in every direction around you.

Brood, charcuterie, traiteur. Alles vers en lekker. Prima service.
