Kitesurf Spot

I’ve spent three days in late August taking lessons. I found Yani a great teacher. He clearly understood the sport, and knew how to instruct me properly, with good observations and clear advice.

Communication around arranging for lessons was also easy and good, and in great English as well, necessary for me who doesn’t speak a single word Bulgarian.

The spirit in the club was communal, people brought melons and drinks to share, and the overall vibe was great.

I would return anytime without hesitation, and can only recommend taking lessons or just kiting there.

The best place on our south coast for learning to kitesurf, coupled with the most experienced and cool intructors, having the latest gear from a well known brands.

I was super happy with my lessons and definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try and/or start learning to kitesurf!

The city kitesurf spot is located in the north part of the Burgas beach. It is famous with the sea breeze (thermal wind) blowing onshore from E, or cross-onshore from NE and SE, gradually picking up during the day. As a general rule you can expect the thermal to get up to between 10 - 16 Knots, with good days blowing a steady 18 - 20 Knots though. The wind here is also particularly constant, which is perfect for learning and improving your kitesurfing skills. Your best chances of catching the thermal winds are between May and September.

Great spot for advanced riders, wind on shore, safety system and sandy bay.

Don't practice this sport, but seems like fun and this place looks great for it.
