Old Town Nessebar

When you’re in sunny beach or near old town in Nessebar should be on your “to visit list “ beautiful and specific to region architecture with loads of shops bars cafes and restaurants! Well worth a visit . We took a taxi from sunny beach which took 15min and costed us around £10 . There’s plenty taxis and busses on the return so no need to ordering in advance. Remember to try local vodka 80% 🔥🔥🔥

Old Town Nessebar is worth a visit or an overnight stay. I believe that Plovdiv Bulgaria is the oldest continuously inhabited city in Europe (7000 yrs), but Nessebar is very old and full of architectural evidence including many ancient churches, walls, and a Roman theatre. Winding cobblestone streets populated by hundreds of stone houses, shops and restaurants. There are many tourists in the summer and parking on the island is hard to find. You can park off island and walk over or take the tram. Tons of photo ops…and people! Restaurants are numerous but don’t expect anything gourmet. On island hotels are expensive. This is great for a day trip if you are staying on the Black Sea somewhere else.

It is a nice place to have short break while walking on the beautiful streets of old town. Just take a drink and relax, thats all.

Definitely worth visiting. Amazing little streets and architecture. Nice walk by the beach side too.

Very nice place worth visiting lots of restaurants with nice views of the sea but be warned about one scummy restaurant called old men restaurant!!!

Nice old town whit local shops and restaurant you can walk maybe 45 minutes you see almost everything you can enjoy a nice walking.

Beautiful cobbled streets and lots of boutique shops.. tavernas with fish restaurants .. oldest town in Europe .

It was a beautifull surprise for us. It looks very cute and gave us a Greece old town vibe. You should visit it, but take in consideration that is very small.

Must visit place, so expensive unlike Sunny Beach. Nice restaurants and coffee shops

My hometown , you can see ancient walls and a fort at the entrance well remains of a fort . Busy and hot in summer season surrounded by the sea hits 80-90% humidity . Turns your walking tour into hell after 10:30 in midsummer .

I thought it was brilliant tbh, loads of shops, restaurants, nice people....Sun sea and sand, along with a bit of Bulgarian history....what more can anyone ask for

Loved this place. Short taxi ride from Sunny Beach or you can get Bus/water taxi. Loads of narrow streets, shops, restaurants and churches!

Fabulous town lots of historical places.lots of restaurants very unique town plenty of buses fares very cheap.

Very nice old city to visit and relax.

Very traditional. Lots of shops selling local stuff. And touristy stuff. Car parking was very good price for a tourist attraction.
