it's really historical architecture to show how ancient of bulgarian defense their territory against outside. located just by seaside and reconstructed several times for a few decades.

The city itself has existed since the 7th century BC. The small area of South Fortress Wall contains a serious layering of cultures. It is interesting, when on a site of 50x50 meters there are pottery and foundry kilns of the 5th century BC, a Roman bath of the beginning of our era, a Byzantine church of the 5th century and above it stand medieval walls.
