Inn "Hitar Petar"

It's one of my favourite restaurants in Bulgaria.
The food is always fresh, local, and nicely prepared. But I was very disappointed during my last visit on the 25 of June 2023. I ordered the homemade cheese, and the amount in the menu was 100 gr. but the served size was quite small. On my remarks, the waitress just answered, "It is 100 gr.!".

A must visit place in the area!
Wonderful food, very delicious and presented in old traditional way.
Atmosphere is great. Traditional design.
Service is good and adequate.
Prices are reasonable.
Wonderful views above the river, entertainment for the kids during the summer.
They have a small shop providing traditional ceramic plates, cups and others.
Recommend it.

Very delicious food. Good variety of local, traditional meals, including options from the local eco-farm. The meat was of good quality, as well the vegetables and mushrooms. Great scenery and nature around. Polite staff and quick service.

Gorgeous setting on the river. Amazing dishes and offerings. Please keep in mind you should possibly order ahead as some dishes take hours to prepare. Like stuffed rabbit, whole chicken and a few others. The bio(organic) offerings directly from their land are great and everything we tried we loved.

Awesome place! The cuisine is very tasty. The atmosphere - traditional Bulgarian 'mehana' as an extra you receive amazing view near river. I would come back!

Nice place with very professional and friendly server who can speak English (on the picture). Tasty food, good location with attention on traditional Bulgarian style. 4 Leva soup, and 7 Leva main dish, well drafted Heineken beer for 2,50 lv (Bulgarian only in bottles). From reading other comments, if it is little more for Bulgarians, as a Czech tourist I have to say all was very good and was worth it. I came during lunch time rush hour, most tables full but I was still served quickly and received both courses in about 5 minutes. Flawless.

Totally best place in Bulgaria! We have been visiting for many years and keep returning whenever possible.

Fantastic location, good kitchen, normal prices. They even have a parking for a motorcycles:) there is a zip line passing over the river. Good for eating with kids. They have good lunch meals menu.

Excellent food and service. Especially after the long trip we had, it was a pleasure to have a stop there.

I have been to many restaurants in Bulgaria, but none quite like this one.

The food is authentic Bulgarian, incredibly well done and delicious and the location is gorgeous!

The food was really good and such a beautiful location. Next time we come back to Bulgaria we will be going back! Try the stuffed peppers!
