Guest house "LEGETO"

The Airbnb is lovely, with a two floors of individual hotel-style rooms above a common room and kitchen. Next door to the is a bakery which serves amazing pastries!

The best thing about this place though, is the host Hristo. We had a group of 15 people and he drove us to and from the slopes everyday. He booked the best local restaurants, got us discounts where possible and recommended local attractions (the thermal pools nearby are amazing)! He picked us up from the airport with beers, found time in the week to show us his favourite hidden off-piste area and was an absolutely amazing host.

He's friendly, helpful and punctual. We had an incredible time here and it's all thanks to him. I highly recommend this place!

We had the most incredible experience at this accommodation! Traveling with our one-year-old baby, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. The rooms were not just spacious but also impeccably clean and well-maintained. The highlight for us was the beautiful yard, complete with a barbecue area, a perfect space for socializing with other guests, and a charming swing that our baby adored.

The communal kitchen was a true gem, fully stocked with all the utensils and equipment we needed to prepare meals for our family.

What made our stay even more exceptional was the convenient location. We had everything we needed right at our doorstep: a nearby bakery with freshly baked goods, fruit and vegetable shops brimming with local produce, a hygiene store, a pharmacy, and a mini-market for any last-minute essentials.

However, the true stars of this place are the hosts. They are incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating. When we mentioned that we were traveling with a baby, they went above and beyond to provide us with a room that was not only comfortable but also safe and baby-friendly.

In all honesty, we couldn't find a single fault during our stay. This place exceeded our expectations in every way possible. We were a large party of 13, a mix of children and adults. Most of us were on our first ski experience. Our host ' Chris' could not do enough to make this a fabulous experience, assisting with transfers, instruction, hire and offering excellent advice about where to eat etc. The property has a gorgeous bakery nextdoor which is open early and perfect for breakfast pastries before a day skiing. The vending machine also offers really good coffee and hot chocolate for next to nothing. I'm so pleased we got to experience the village rather than the ski resort of Borovet as I feel like we've had the best of both worlds; experiencing the beauty of the slopes and also experiencing an authentic Bulgarian village. Rooms are hotel like quality with lovely showers and some with beautiful mountain views at the front of the property. Outdoor seating area is a lovely touch and communal kitchen worked perfectly for our group. There is a local bus from the village into Borovet and costs less than one pound. We are already trying to work out when we can return. Thank you.

Big comfy lounge area on the ground floor, sunny space in the morning when we had a lovely breakfast.
Oh, and try the pastry next to the the guest house, also part of the family business. Delicious!

We booked as a group of 13 first time skiers with Hristo (for convenience he told us to call him Chris) at Legeto for the full package of accommodation, airport and resort transfers, ski hire and ski lessons. So basically we were with Chris for half our holiday, he was key to our enjoyment and he absolutely delivered. He is professional, friendly, calm, patient, adaptable and superb teacher. I'd unreservedly recommend him. Met as strangers and left as friends.
Bovovet resort was also good for us first time skiers, but I'm glad we stayed in the nearby town at Legeto (we booked the entire building) and experienced real Bulgaria. Local restaurants near Legeto were excellent; much better in every way than in the resort, and Chris' transfers made it easy not to be in resort. Thanks Hristo!

Perfect place. Good location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There's very delicious traditional fast food in front of the building. Also ask the owner for Hristo for private ski and snowboard lessons. He's very experienced and proffesionalist. If you come one time, you'll come back for sure.

Wow… what’s an amazing, modern and beautiful guesthouse.
Stayed here for 3 nights for a last minute ski trip to Borovets.

We usually stay in Borovets and have done so for the last 17 years, but I just thought I would try something different and explore the local restaurants and hospitality. It didn’t disappoint and exceeded our expectations.

Hristo and his wife were lovely and helped us out with all the local info eg restaurants, transfers etc.

They also provided us with a shuttle too and from Borovets for a small fee.

I would recommend any one try this guesthouse , especially if you have stayed in Borovets many times. Prices for restaurants, convenience shops and supermarkets are half of that compared to Borovets, and so it is far more economical and only 10 minutes drive away.

The guest house rooms are modern and clean and you are only a few minutes away from all of the best local restaurants in Samokov, which won’t disappoint you.

Wonderful host, close to great local restaurants. Within short drive of ski resort and mountains. Very clean and well presented rooms.

Totally recommend, would visit again

Pros: Great hosts, clean room, spacious bathroom. Back yard is a lovely garden where you can bbq or just drink coffee. No food options, but owners have a breakfast shop right below the place. Banichkas are perfect! 2 good restaurants to eat in <5 min walk.

Cons: No dedicated parking space. The otherwise quiet street can be loud at moments. Especially at mornings when a waiting line forms for the breakfast shop

Family conduction , Hristo will welcome you as if you are a friend , regardless. The rooms are nice and clean, and the courtyard as been equipped as a common space for having lunch or just for spending some time together.

I really recommend this place.
It was a great stay. Roomand the whole place is really clean, quiet, everything is new, the owners are really nice, helpful and polite.
Also the big plus is: garden and the bakery at the ground floor, they have amazing Banica 👌🏻
