GRIFID Encanto Beach Hotel

Al the best about this hotel. It is located right on the beach, having a great view. Rooms are very nice and clean. All the services were great, people working here are very polite and they listen to your needs.
Food was also good. Not the best I eat in a hotel, but far better than many others. There are a lot of dishes you can chose from. Beverages are ok... The local ones are not the best in the world, but you can deal with them :)
Spa and pools are clean (exept of the mattresses from the infinity pool, which were kind of dirty, but you can get free clean towels to cover them).

It was wonderful, we did not stay, we just used a day use since we were staying somewhere else downtown varna, i couldnt find any info online about the day usage, you can use all facilities, pools, and eat and drink (including alcohol) for the day. But if you are considering coming with your family, you can just book a taxi to go and back and the hotel has everythibg else! food and all you need for a wonderful time! Strongly recommend.

3 stars for the reception customer service, in rest it is 6 star not 5. Everything from the locations, meal service and rooms is top of the top, just that part regarding the reception customer service can be improved a lot. And regarding the marketing side it can do a lot better to show that it is a 6 star location. All the best, Bogdan!

The rooms were wonderful and was spotlessly clean. It s not for the first time when we come to Encanto.From many years we come to Grifid Hotels( Vistamar, Bolero-I was here too).
We would definately stay here again and recommend to friends.
We enjoyed delicious food every day.The restaurant offered a nice variety of food which was tasty and fresh.
Room was confortabile, including the bed, very comfy.
The atmosphere is made by the people who kindly, helpful, efficient and professional work here and we thank them.
Great view for infinity pool!!

From our arrival at the hotel the bartenders and other staff made us feel at home. They brought us special welcome drinks which were phenomenal. The hotel is very nice for couples, it has amazing location and luxurious spa. The best part was the staff members. All of them are very friendly and polite, especially the bartenders! The bar bosses Ivcho and Evgeni made sure we had amazing service throughout all of our stay. They made us their special cocktails which were more than perfect and always made sure that we are on our best mood! Krasi, Eric, Mitko, and the others made us feel very special at our holiday and were always polite and professional. The bar was always super clean and well kept. Dilyan and Erhi from the animation team kept us entertained the whole time! They were so charismatic and made u feel like u know them all your life. It was very fun with them. We had activities from early in the morning till late at night. Special thanks to Ivcho and Dilyan who Organized a special surprise for my birthday. They brought me a special cake with a bottle of champagne and sang me happy birthday which made me feel very special. We also would like to thank Ivon and Selin from reception! They were super responsive and even organised another special surprise that was served to our room. Super kind and helpful! Last but not least the Guest relation Jani was very cool and professional. She asked us about everything and made sure that our stay was perfect and that we took advantage of the holiday to the max! The conversations with her were a big joy and always interesting. Our rooms were perfect always well kept and always clean. I cannot express more gratitude to the amazing staff and management of this hotel. We will come back for sure! Recommend it 10/10.

It's great lovely people, great service and very delicious food. Just make sure you visit in the summer.

We have stayed 2 times at this hotel, 4 nights in May ans 6 nights in October.
We are impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms, the variety of food available for each meal, the kindness of the staff. We had very minor inconveniences that were solved once we let the reception know ( they forgot to load the minibar with water and other drinks one day).
We stayed there with 4 kids and we mainly spent time on the beach and at the pool.
The water in the pool was warm and clean enough even for babies to play there.
I also like the fact that the staff was pretty relaxed and the minidisco for kids was fun.
I would recommend it for both adults with or without children who want to rest and enjoy the sea or the pool.
We will gladly return here.

This hotel is a great place to go and relax. It's perfect for families with kids. The location is great with the beach right next to the hotel and all the amenities you need. Both indoor and outdoor infinity pool are great. We will be going back every year because it's worth it!

If you need a nice quiet location to relax, this is the one. First impression of Grifid Encanto is the Front office staff, they are amazing and helpful. I have visited a few times and each time the staff was awesome.
The Hotel amenities are good, like Infinity pool, indoor heated pool and also the SPA services. Food was also good.

Where do I start? We had the best experience with this hotel!!! First of all the staff were so nice! The food where great I was never hungry 😋 every morning we did sport with Peter and Maria I love them so much! But I think the sport manager should advertise it more because a lot of people don’t know that there is this option and don’t come, I personally loved it didn’t skip any classes even at 4pm. The spa is also great!! Very very clean and pleasant, also the massage and facial were good and good price. The room were great also I very recommend to book the sea view rooms you can’t believe how much it is affecting your room and mood. My overall experience were so great I would definitely like to come again ❤

Just a few meters away from the golden sands of the beach, this hotel is a great place to have your vacation.
The all inclusive option gives you access to the main restaurant, beach BBQ, where you can grab a bite or have a cold drink during the day, inside pool, gym lobby bar and my favorite - the infinity pool with it's own bar.
Excellent way to spend your holiday!

A relaxing hotel, with beautiful, big enough rooms ( we had a familly room sea view), excelent food ( even if, as a vegan, you could wish for more options), even the sweets are very good, the restaurant has a nice panorama, the indoor pool was loves by the children, it make me curiouse if they keep the standards in the summer too. The usual hospitality of a Grifid hotel! The entertainment wasn't so good, but i think they will do better in the summer. It was a very good choise for the spring! Thank you!

We stayed at Grifid Encanto for 4 nights, it was a lovely trip overall, definitely will be back but also definitely will do things a bit diferently next time.
For example, we booked a room with Sea View which for us wasn't that impressive, on the contrary, it was extremely hot in the first part of the day, impossible to drink your morning coffee without sweating like a hog. At night, the sounds/honks of the mini train can be heard until quite late. Next time we'll go with Park View which is cooler and also cheaper. Probably also more silent, as it's a dead end street.
Speaking of heat, the fact that the AC completely stops whenever you open the balcony door is very annoying. It is admirable that the hotel is taking measures that are eco-friendly, but this should be specified somewhere so that you don't question your own memory. Other eco friendly measures: no slippers in the room, no paper napkins on the tables by default, towels are changed only if you put them on the floor.
The free Wifi is strong and reliable, we had no problem with it. It's not password protected, so I don't know how safe it is to connect to it, don't make payments or share sensitive data while on Wifi!
The food was quite good overall, there were plenty of things to choose from - meats, veggies, pasta, soups, pastries, fruit, desserts were quite ok (many bad reviews about desserts but honestly they were ok and plenty to choose from). The only annoying thing about the main restaurant is that the drinks machines get broken quite often, so you go grab yourself a sparkling water or pepsi and you can't because it's got an Out of Order sign on it. Plain water and coffee machines never had this problem, but then again, they are less popular I guess.
About the a la carte we had such big expectations, but it turned out to be very slow service, our little one had no patience for this at all, we had to go back to the main restaurant to pick some child friendly foods so hunger wouldn't strike at night. The food was traditional only and not that impressive either. Same type of food as in the main restaurant basically, but takes longer and is less diverse. Maybe it was an exception, but I wouldn't try it again.
The hotel is very friendly for kids, they have animators for those older than 4 years old, and they can go basically anywhere except the Spa on the ground an -1 floors. It is also quite far from the center, which is actually a good thing because it's pretty silent and less crowded, so less people to worry about in these Covid times.
If you want to go to the center you can go via the mini train (4 leva one way).
The private beach is less crowded and the umbrellas are 100% sun-protective. It's clean and wide, definitely nicer than the one at Grifid Vistamar. The indoor pool has also a glass roof that is UV protective, which was nice because sometimes you don't feel like putting sticky sunscreen for half an hour of swimming at noon time.
The people are also quite friendly, from the restaurant personnel, the cleaning, to the reception, and the guy at the bar who makes the best cocktails (thank you SAM!) and is a very hard working guy, we literally saw him working from dusk till dawn! In order to call the reception from your room you need to dial 9 on the phone. These instructions aren't found anywhere.
We felt quite safe overall because mostly everybody wore their mask indoors, and disinfectant was on every corner. Basically, if you don't have your mask on, you will not be served at the bar, or allowed entrance to the main restaurant. You can't touch the buffet utensils without gloves either. Obviously, when eating at the table, you can take everything off.

Overwhelmed by the service and welcome we received.
The food and drinks selection was better than most all inclusive and the entertainment was also great.

AI package is a must - great buffet and cocktails all day - keep staying in the wave. Spa area is nice, indoor and infinity pool with a stunning view to the beach. Rooms are clean and quite big. Sea view rooms have a great view to the sunrise. Nice beach with a beach bar & restaurant. Very recommendable in low season due to the spa area. Roughly 20-25 min to the city centre of varna, 30-35min to the airport. Walking distance to tourist promenade of golden sands and nirvana beach to the north. Official triumph and omega taxis are rather affordable (there are big differences between companies!)

Lovely hotel. Absolutely amazing services, top quality food, very polite staff, plenty of variety. Beach right in front of the hotel, spa, indoor pools, infinity pool and a jacuzzi, this place has them all.

Problems? The parking. It's 10 euros per day and they take your car to a different hotel (5-10 minites away). Listen, if I pay 10 euros per day, I want my car near the hotel that I stay. I want to look at it.

All in all, a lovely experience. I will go again, in a couple of weeks.

We had a great experience this year(2020) at this hotel.
The rooms are very clean, smels good.
The infinity pool is replacing with succes the beach.
The food was very good and tasty.
The alc. drinks are the only weak point.
The staff is very kind.
This hotel is far away from the city center, it is a place were you can enjoy the view and relax in your holiday.
I will recommend this place to others.

The hotel is amazing with nice amenities. We had a wonderful stay in September although there was an issue due to light season in Covid situations. The hotel strived hard to solve the issue and make us satisfied, very customer centric!

Common area:
There are table tennis table, animations(yoga, dart,etc). Parking is very close to the hotel.

Room:
The room is big with a very nice balcony facing the sea. Mini bar is refreshed every day, so are the beach towel. They welcomed us with beach hats on the bed. Cleaning lady is very creative, will fold the clothes in certain cute shapes sometimes.

Pool:
Big infinity pool at the roof with bar and nice jacuzzi. Indoor pool with nice leisure amenities as sauna, hamman.

Food:
Food at the buffet is ok. They will organize theme night to provide special food, such as seafood night, Italian night, Bulgarian night. Love the skybar with nice healthy breakfasts and view. The beach club(restaurant) serves great food and offers wonderful services. Impeccable!

Beach:
Generally, the beach here is wide but it’s not shallow. The beach bar provides all kinds of food to make your feel during holidays, ice cream, all kinds of alcohol, hamburger, kebab, sandwich, waffle, fruits, just top!! They also have beachboy service, very soft mattress for the chaise longue, nice parasol at the beach!!

Overall: Nice staff, comfortable rooms, good food, very good internet (2 Mbit/s actual download speed at 10 pm), clean beach, although the beach umbrellas are not so big.

The pool: The infinity pool is simply beautfiul with free quality drinks and here the beds are wide and comfortable with a much bigger umbrellas than the ones on the beach.

The food: The food is great with a nice variety for everyone. The beach bar has the same quality food as the main restaurant which is quite nice because some hotels have worse food on the beach.

Covid 19: the guests are the only danger because the staff wear masks and there is automatic hand sanitizer in every corner.

The room: clean, nicely stylized with air-conditioning.

Would recommend!

This is a top hotel, the rooms are very clean,the food is excellent but the best part is the service given by staff. They couldn't do enough for us.... excellent all over and loved our stay.
