Great place, above the expectations of a hut. We slept in the bungalows and everything was clean and comfortable, toilet/shower in each bungalow. What made our stay really outstanding were the hosts, young and positive people who want their guests to feel welcome. There is a great bar with nice cocktails, great food (something for everyone), really cool music, and a beautiful setting with tables, benches, swings, and a play area for kids. The whole atmosphere creates a feeling of timelessness, relaxation and connectedness with the beautiful nature. Highly recommend it.

Cozy and comfortable place with a wonderful views around,recreation areas and amenities that not every hut can offers. The hospitable hosts creating a warm atmosphere and cooking better than a restaurant contribute to your unforgettable experience with a lovely attitude. Amazing place!
The first thing you see is the bar which is very nice. It’s well decorated and looks fantastic. The staff is friendly and you can always talk to them and ask for anything. The beds and the rooms are fine. The place is perfect for kids because there is a lot of space and different games in the backyard.
There is a very beautiful lake 2 minutes away from the hut.
I recommend Momchil yunak to everyone.

Great hosts, super delicious food. A beautiful arrangement of the landscape and surroundings of the hut.We were at a wedding this weekend at this magical place and were so surprised by the warmth and kindness of the hosts. Also we enjoyed a super delicious and interesting meals. The hut and bungalows were full, because we were a lot of guests. So the hosts have left a sign that there is a private event this weekend. We witnessed an unpleasant moment, when a rude man came and complained about the situation. We didn't understand why, because the hosts nicely explained that they could offer them a meal, but not a room. Now I see this pack of negative comments, which are totally written under the emotional judgement of a momentous perceptions. I am sorry for the negative experience of the people, but if you visit a hut, you have to check in advance whether there is a free room. It is the normal practice. So I really recommend not to have this negative comments in mind, when you consider visiting this beautiful hut.

Wonderful place with wonderful people and food. It feels like home. You have to go there and sense of this feeling of warmth and quietness.

This place is a magic. The hosts are one in a million time… perfect. Young and energetic couple that make this place so alive. We choose the place for our special day and if you ask us, we will choose it again and again. Nikoleta and Uri are people who knows what hard work is and never stop for a minute. The food is amazing, fresh and always prepared very fast and with a lot of love. We fell in-love as for the place it self, as for the great hosts themself. We went there as a guests and left as a friends. ♥

We came for a wedding. The location is just great and the owners are very lovely. Also the food was delicious (Bulgarian / Argentinian) and beautifully arranged. Thank you for this amazing weekend!

This place is a little piece of heaven.You will definitely enjoy the feeling of being away from the madness. The hut is beautiful and has everything you can possibly want. Very welcoming, warm hosts, place with great stories, beautiful landscapes, everything you need to detach, relax and enjoy the silence and nature. I visited Momchil Yunak late January, in the middle of the winter season. The place is really beautiful, located near the Rozhen observatory and Momchilovtsi village. It's about 2 kilometres from the near ski slope in Momchilovtsi and its easily reachable both by car and foot.
The owners of the hut are super nice, offer great food and service. It's a really nice place for trekking in the Rodopi mountain in all seasons. During summer the area is suitable for biking. The hut is pet friendly and you can either stay in the main building, in the chalets or in tents outside.
I recommend the lentil soup - super delicious 😋

There are lots of abandoned until recent times places in this beautiful mountains that need young people like these to bring them back to life.
