We went back 3 times. The menu del dia is perfect. You can choose from 4-5 different dishes, plus soup, garlic bread and drink for a very good price

Great restaurant to eat, the food is amazing. We went multiple times to the restaurant. Two times for dinner and one time for lunch. You need to be patient for getting served, but when you taste their meals and drinks it's all worth it!

If you are vegetarian or vegan this is the place to go, they serve two pages of dishes all vegetarian and vegan. We enjoyed the vegetarian lasagne the first time, it had an amazing taste. (Its not on the picture)

For the drinks they serve this huge jars of fruit juice, it is mixed with ice and water, a great way to hydrated your body. (It was about 38degrees celcius when we were there).

Luz de Mar serves the most incredible jugos, their drinks are truly outstanding. Plus, the service is impeccable, making every visit a flawless experience. Perfection at its finest!

We had a really nice meniu del dia (vegetarian). Food was lovely and good price! For 2x menus (starter- soup and main - bean chili with rice) + coca cola we paid 38 bolivianos. Absolute steal! Service lovely too

Great vegetarian options, deserts, and service. My favorite restaurant for the last 8 months. The owner will straight up steal your food and replace it if you don't dig in fast enough she is dedicated to making sure your meal isn't just good but great.

Perfect cappuccino, with a very creamy milk foam, and incredibly delicious passion fruit and Oreo cake. We came back and also tried the burgers, amazing as well. And lovely staff. A little slow, but if you are in Rurre you must enjoy that!

The best lunch special in Bolivia! Consistently good quality and healthy set menu. I was delighted to find vegan options here in the jungle! Excellent staff and service too!

Oh my WORD, the Amazonian river fish with garlic is so good it's almost indecent. Sit outside and watch Rurrenbaque life go by. Dreamy.

My favorite place to go in Rurre. Food is very reasonably priced. The wait staff is good, some problems with English/ Spanish, but they work with you. I like the varied menu and the specials they run.

We stayed in Rurrenabaque for a week and went to Luz the Mar for every lunch and dinner. We just absolutely loved this place, it was the best in all of Bolivia. They have a delicious menu del día for lunch, which changes everyday, is only 15BOL and always has tasty options for vegetarians and vegans. Also eating here a la carte is a delight and won't break your wallet. To add to that: the staff is so so friendly. On our last night we had a chat and a drink together. Amazing vegan food options! The menu is also in English and they know exactly what vegan entails and have a whole page of options. The food is great, mostly healthy and whole foods. It's our favourite restaurant in Rurre! :)

Breakfast was large and good. Eggplant burger was excellent. Portions are big and prices good. A lot of vegetarian options.

Best price-quality in Rurrenabaque. We really liked the menu they offer for 15 till 25 bolivianos. Every day they have different options and you can always choose between meat, fish, or veggie.
