Hotel JUMARI

Absolutely one of the best services I’ve ever received at such an affordable place. Many past luxury stays couldn’t even compete. Upon arriving before 1pm after our long bus, we were able to check-in with no issue. We also saw other guests throughout our stay, who came via night bus, be able to check-in at 8am! We didn’t yet have the cash to pay for our stay (it is cash only, much like the majority of hotels in Uyuni) and the ladies said it wasn’t a problem, we could pay later, even the next day.
On other day of check-out, we had a night bus to catch. The ladies saw us working on our laptops in the lobby after we checked out and offered us a new and clean room for us to relax in privately! That was a first for us. We were able to use the room until well into the evening, trying to keep it as mess-free as possible.
The room was pretty standard and cozy. The bed’s three blankets in addition to the comforter were a bit overkill but I would understand during the colder dry season. The breakfast was, to our surprise, well-rounded. They bring out very little at a time, but they’re always attentive as to when things run out and will personally bring you more if you ask. The fresh fruit was so good (especially the mangoes!)

I do not have enough good things to say about this place. I wish I had stayed here first in Uyuni. The original place I stayed (Hotel Nichkito) was such a disaster I picked up and left early to find another hotel. I found Jumari and I was kicking myself for not spending $10 more per night to stay at Jumari from the start. Jumari is clean, the breakfast is good, the rooms and bathrooms are sizeable. My only tepid criticism is that the walls in the rooms are so devoid of things that you voice can echo in the room a little but that's an issue I can overlook because this place feels like the only reputable place in Uyuni which is a trashy tourist outpost. Uyuni is a place most people traveling there aren't even planning on staying when they do the multiple day trips onto the Salt Flat. So Uyuni is a trash heap... but Jumari is a breath of fresh air while you're stuck there.

Amazing stay at this place. They let us check in early after the night bus and our room was perfect. Hot shower, a heater for the cold, spacious, and clean. WiFi was super strong too. Breakfast buffet is also fantastic. Great value. Such a nice family that run the place, they were super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel with wonderful staff. We arrived early after taking a night bus. They provided a breakfast for us that was not included in the price. The room was super clean. On arrival the gas heater in our room was turned on, making the room nice and warm for us. Shower was amazing. Would recommend staying in such a friendly, cosy hotel.

The place is one of the best in Uyuni. It looks very not exciting at all or hipster and they use very non-romantic neon lights and accept some Japanese and Korean groups (you see it by the text written in those languages), but EVERYTHING WORKS. The location is the best and it's quiet.

There is a gas heater in every room, the rooms are big and the showers are hot. You get everything you need and for the 240 Bs we paid it was good.

The breakfast is annoying - as the buffet is almost always empty, and when you ask for some more cheese, it takes them a few minutes and then they fill two slices covered by a new plastic foil... Comm'on.
Same with juice and same with fruits or anything. I can't understand the staff. Once we asked for more cheese and she looked at us and said "Noooooooo". No?

The reception was very friendly and reliable.

Great location, price and breakfast. Very cool colour scheme, hot water and friendly people. Highly recommend if you want something in the centre of Uyuni.

Very good hotel in Uyuni with optimal price/quality ratio. The owner is very very kind. Hot shower. Optimal breakfast. Only one bad thing: room very cold sometimes. Other pro: you can leave there your backpacks during the Uyuni Salina's tour.

We came to Uyuni to start our 4wd tour of the salt flats. Not only was the hotel immaculately clean with fresh (hot) showers, bedding, towels and delicious breakfast but we were welcomed with open arms by Jenny and Liborio who run the hotel.
We were exhausted from our travels and both became sick when we arrived and Jenny (our angel and new Bolivian mum) did everything possible to make sure we were looked after and well again for our trip the next day. From bringing hot water and bowls for some dinner in bed to giving us advice on how to make sure our tummy's were ok for our trip.
We cannot speak highly enough of this place and will be recommending to EVERYONE we meet!

Clean and comfy hostel. Cheaper choice in Uyuni~ good value for money. Very convenient location: 5 mins walk to center: travel agents street & shopping square/restaurants close by. 2 mins walk to a corner supermarket.

Very nice hotel, clean, attentive staff, with modern amenities such as cable TV, solar water heater, wi-fi etc. A pleasant surprise in this small town. Perfect for a stopover before or after a tour of the nearby salt flats. Also don't miss the train graveyard not far from the hotel.

Very nice buffet breakfast, good size and cleanliness of bed room. Friendly staff and owner, highly recommended.

Buen hotel para hacer noche en Uyuni antes y después del tour de 3 días. Habitaciones cómodas y agua calentita en la ducha. El personal es amable , buen desayuno y te guardan las maletas los 3 días del tour. Muy recomendable !!

위치도 투어사와 가까워서 좋아요!! 무엇보다 친철함과 청결이 최고!! 건물은 오래된 것 같지만 호텔 내부와 객실 내부가 엄청 관리가 잘 되고있어요 ㅎㅎ 조식도 맛있었고 모든게 편하고 좋았습니다. 직원들도 모두 친절하세요😄👍
