Friendly staff and they get you in and out relatively quick.
It was a bit of a wait getting my initial appointment (several weeks), but that seems to be standard in most areas of Nova Scotia life.
My new eye glasses arrived in about 7 days, whereas I was told to expect 14-16 days.
I've used FYI all across Canada and they have always been a good company to deal with.

This is my fourth pair of glasses from FYI . Tracey is amazing she let me take my time on picking the perfect frame. Took me 2 days lol. We had a fun time and and lots of laughts. All the girls had a say in my frames . I love my new glasses. Thank you so much Tracey and the staff for your wonderful service.

Excellent customer service from the front desk, to the tech who did the pre op before my emergency eye exam by Dr. Boudreau. Left feeling satisfied in my diagnosis and was pleasantly pleased to be taken on as a full time patient.

I LOVE FYI, they have been amazing. They follow up to see if everything is going well, answer any questions I have, and helped out with any emergency that has come up.
Not only are the doctors amazing, so is all the other workers. They are very polite and professional.
They are always smiling and happy. Over all I highly recommend coming to give them a visit. Take a look at all the amazing different kinds of glasses, sunglasses, etc. You won't regret it :)

Absolutely amazing customer service from the front desk, the doctors themselves and the boutique. They made me feel welcome as I walked in, helped me chose my eyewear that suited my face and gave me confidence in my glasses. They recently replaced my glasses with no trouble which I really appreciated. Highly recommend Amherst, NS, FYI for your exam and glasses needs!

I had a great experience at FYi . They helped me pick out glasses that suited my face . They were awesome at explaining all my options and didn't feel judged for trying to keep the cost down where as other place I have found they make you feel like they are looking down on me. . Having a great review isn't just about how you were treated but also if you have a problem how it was resolved. On all accounts FYI Amherst nailed it.

Fantastic staff! Very professional and friendly. I felt well taken care of the entire visit, from check-in at Reception, to pre-tests, to Dr. MacCarthy’s exam, to my new prescription fitting to my frames. Lovely experience!

Was in to FYI Amherst today, with a broken frame on glasses. We expected to, at the very least have to buy a new pair of frames, and was prepared to go elsewhere to compare prices. We were waited on quickly efficiently. Huge shout out to Lindsay, who went above and beyond to replace the frames at no cost. I have been trying to get progressive lenses that work me for over 10 years. Recently told that it was my eyes and not the lenses. I'm so pleased that I was able to purchase progressive lenses from FYI Amherst that work for me. No more bifocals or trifocals!! Dr McCarthy and the staff have been fantastic. I'm so very pleased!!
