BGS definitely defends it's title as the best school in Buea with the consistent and effective practical sessions, the clear and concise explanation of teachers such as Mr Mokio who teaches A/L physics, the commitment of teachers like Papa chick to students success and the inspiring attitude of some teachers when students need help. The atmosphere is really inspiring and pushes students to work harder as most students are always studying. Furthermore, The school helps students cultivate habits such as time consciousness and management since students need to be very fast in every activity they carry out due to the population.
The school tries it's best to maintain a certain level of hygiene. Again, there are a variety of food choices so students can choose from a wide range.
I love how the theme of hardwork, self improvement and belief runs in the S1 and S2 class.

Ps: This review is based on the experience I had as a science inclined student ( S2 )in the second cycle of BGS Molyko. I don't know anything about the arts section or the first cycle.

Great school, high standard for secondary education.

Always amongst the best in the entire country in terms of academic excellence. Located beside the road making it easily accessible and has security guards. Very discipline and Model to all government second school in Cameroon. It's is 50+ years old. Wonderful staffs , always ready to give their best for success

It has an enviable Alumni placed throughout the world.

This school is a symbol of what good manager and a drive for excellent can achieve even with limited resources.

As a former student myself, I couldn't be more proud of this institution. I have only fun memories of the school.

But I most say that its not what it was design to be.

I know of a Cameroonian tenured professor in the west who was a graduate of this school also.

When he descriped what the school was like back in his days, how the former/late Cameroon president visited them to encourage education, and how the students where handle, then I know what i saw in my days was just a shadow of the school's pass glories.
