Tour Café de Altura - Finca Casa Vieja

This tour was amazing! Highly recommended for people that want to learn about coffee production with a perfect explanation.
You also would see many plants, trees, birds. The farm wants to protect and preserve the ecosystem, which is great!
Santiago is very knowledgeable, friendly, and he is up to date about different coffee, processes and flavors.

This was the best tour we ever had, Alejandra our tour guide give us a private two hours to our in their exclusive coffee farm. She was very detailed and took her time to answer all our questions and at the end we had our private coffee testing. Highly recommend

Wonderful experience for all ages! We learned everything about the coffee-making process, the surrounding ecosystem, and the history of coffee in Colombia. Everyone in the group - from 8 to 75 - raved about the day. I also recommend you ask about lunch, it was delicious! Huge thanks to Santiago and Alejandra for their hospitality and attention.

Amazing tour. Highly recommended if you want to dive deep into the coffee culture. The tour needs to be booked in advanced as it is 100% customized.

This is my go-to coffee tour. Whenever I have friends and family come to visit Colombia I take them on the Cafe de Altura Tour. Santiago is a multi-generation coffee grower. He's enthusiastic about coffee. The tour is extremely informative not only about the process of growing coffee but the whole coffee experience. From coffee bean seedling to roasting for market. After the tour you go to his coffee shop that he runs with his sister. Here you taste all different types of coffees and how they can be served. His sister makes pastries which are fabulous. My family that has visited Colombia and bought lots of different coffees from different plantations voted Cafe Altura the best!

Great experience with a 4th generation coffee family. Most go to this tour, is amazing.

Exelent place to get great quality coffee

A wonderful and personal visit to a real coffee farm! Alejandra tells you the story of her family, tells you all there is to know about coffee and shows you the variants of plants her grandmother collected. This experience is not as “instgramable” as others in the region but it is real, and interesting and beautiful. So worthwhile !

Maravilloso tour, vale la pena realmente, el costo 85 mil x persona. Son unas dos horas aprox, la finca es hermosa y la atención inmejorable. Muchas gracias Alejandra x la guía tan esmerada.

Un tour para entender el proceso del café, junto con almuerzo y un recorrido por plantaciones de otras especies nativas de frutas y flores nacionales. Excelente servicio, totalmente recomendado!

Uno de los mejores recorridos cafeteros del departamento, donde conservan la tradición familiar y se mantienen las nuevas generaciones apropiadas del conocimiento, la experiencia y el amor por el trabajo cafetero, un excelente recorrido conociendo en detalle diferentes variedades de café, asi como algunos cultivos de frutas, hortalizas, flores entre otras alternativas que se aprovechan para el día a día de la finca.
El recorrido se puede realizar en español o ingles, tiene una duración aproximada de 2 a 3 horas, incluye un delicioso almuerzo elaborado con ingredientes que se producen en su gran mayoría en la finca o algunas fincas aledañas, aportando a la sotenibilidad.
Recomendado completamente, gracias a Santiago, Alejandra y toda su familia por la atención y felicitaciones por la linda labor del campo.
