The vegan farm and Spanish school are both great. We had a really fun week walking with Anderson and in Paola’s class room. We made great progress with our Spanish and the sunrise yoga in the beautiful farm was amazing. Guatape is easy to walk to and fun to explore too. 5 stars one of the highlight of our time in Colombia.

An enriching experience on a beautiful property.
A huge thank you to Paula for welcoming us to her farm and allowing us to feel right at home. A perfect escape from the city, surrounded by rolling green hills, stunning views, and loved animals - we enjoyed every minute of our stay on the farm. We were able to learn so much as well! From Spanish grammar lessons to authentic cooking classes, of not just healthy but delicious, filling food. There’s so much to love about this place, we couldn’t recommend it more highly.

We loved staying at the farm!!! Playing with the animals, hiking & speaking Spanish, cooking & eating clean, locally grown vegan food… it was exactly the “retreat” we needed! Paola (the owner) has created an amazing place around very simple principles of sustainable living, and we are forever changed by our time there.

My partner and I had a great week here! Paula was great host and really made us feel welcome at the farm. We ate tasty, healthy vegan food and did yoga every morning so we felt amazing by the end of the week. Strongly recommend getting the Thai massage - a real highlight. Thank you Paula and we will be back!

An absolute gem! Paula has created an oasis of peace, joy and education on her stunning vegan farm. My girlfriend and I spent a week between Guatape and Medellin and the 3 hours at Paula’s was the highlight of the whole trip. The waterfall hike is a must, the animals are pure love, the food is delicious and the people are all lovely company and able to drop so much wisdom.

It can be hard to choose what to do when traveling, with limits to time and funds. And this place can seem off the usual tourist map and a little out of the way. It is absolutely worth it and a much richer and more memorable and special experience than almost any other. And that was just for a 3 hour day trip to hike and eat and chat and hang with the animals. If we could do it over, we would stay there and take the Spanish and cooking classes.

Gracias por todo, Paula!!

If you are looking for a peaceful, restful nature getaway, Paola's farm is a great option. You start each day with yoga from 6:30-8, a great breakfast, and then it's on to your activities. I did not go for any classes and wanted to just take each day as it came - I expected to spend a lot of time solo either reading or hiking. Although I did get to do those things, I didn't expect to find such a cool community of people to spend the week with. As the farm has both English and Spanish classes, the group was a very eclectic mix of people from the U.S., Spain, and Colombia. Although the breakdown of people changes week to week, the farm sets itself up nicely as a place for cultural exchange. And it all starts with Paola's amazing hospitality and contagious energy - she really creates a space where people can relax, be part of a community, and if they wish, do their own thing. The week flew by with great hikes, a couple swimming holes, working in the garden, reading, cooking, and plenty of great tea and conversations. Looking forward to going back!

Paola’s farm was the perfect place to recharge and reconnect after 2 weeks in Medellín. The vibe was very wholesome with tasty vegan food, good conversation and great views from the porch. Yoga was amazing with the sun rising over the mountains to warm us as we went through the poses. An incredible way to start the day. I also did the Spanish immersion through hiking and grammar classes with Doris which really helped drill in some concepts I hadn’t fully grasped yet. In the afternoon, Javid’s salsa classes were all amazing. He taught salsa in a very fun and intuitive way, which was far better than all the group classes I had taken up to that point. Going into town for the language exchange and to chill on the plaza and chat with people was really nice. Everyone was so nice! It felt like I was able to catch a glimpse into a very warm and tight-knit community. Overall, I had a great time at the granja and will be back!

Paola has created a beautiful place where you can learn about permaculture, learn Spanish, learn English & learn about vegan cooking. But most importantly it's a place where you can BE, where you can interact with others, where you can live in a community and appreciate simple life close to nature.
Paola has such a big heart, I've learned so much from her as well as from the other guests during my stay. It was great to find like minded people there to connect with. The food is delicious and the overall vibe very peaceful.
The Spanish course is quite intense, at a high pace with quite some homework. But that way you do get to learn a lot in 2 weeks.
I've really enjoyed my stay at the farm with Paola and highly recommend it! Thank you Paola for everything!

I spent 5 glorious and peaceful days on Paola's granja. The location is a perfect distance from the charming town of Guatape. You can easily walk to and from town about 30 minutes each way. Mornings started with a lovely, slow yoga classes followed by beautiful hikes in the surrounding mountains where you could further your Spanish practice. While there, I was able to meet travelers from all over the world and really practice using my Spanish. My Spanish definitely improved. The food was out of this world good and there was great conversation to be had over each meal (in Spanish of course). Overall, I really enjoyed my time at Paola's and hope to make it back some day!

This place is absolutely awesome. During the week I was there I improved my Spanish a ton, went hiking almost everyday, participated in a yoga and meditation session everyday and also had cooking lessons. Paola is an excellent host who brings people together to make them feel like family. It was an experience of a lifetime. I couldn't recommend it enough.

We had the most incredible experience taking the two-week Spanish Immersion course. The farm was absolutely beautiful, the vegan food was delicious, and Paola makes learning Spanish a blast - she is full of life and makes you feel right at home. We had no idea what to expect and knew little Spanish to start – by the end of the two weeks we definitely felt we have a great foundation of Spanish to build from. Paolo, challenges you but in all the best ways to make sure you get the most out of your experience. We highly recommend “the farm” for learning Spanish, vegan cooking, organic farming, or just a peaceful place to rest your head and meet a wonderful community of people.

We came to unwind and spend some time in nature and also learn about permaculture & farming. We enjoyed every second at this Eco Finca and with our host Paola. We started the day with some beautiful yoga and indulged ourselves with delicious vegan food. There are some beautiful hikes in the surrounding and you can join Spanish classes as well as Vegan cooking, Yoga and Permaculture classes. Highly recommended for your body, mind & soul. More than a five star stay. ⭐

Thanks Paula for welcoming me to Colombia so beautifully, my two weeks here were so special. Your attitude to life is unique and inspiring! I loved meeting the goats, taking part in the yoga, adventuring to the waterfall. The food is delicious, vegan and made with love and care. Hot sauce is banging! This is not your standard hostel. Come here if you want to feel part of a community, participate, make friends, learn Spanish, slow down, and live differently.

I spent the afternoon at Paola’a beautiful farm today for a fully vegan lunch! Paola prepared everything fresh, and the ingredients came from the farm itself — sooooooo delicious, nutritious & filling! Not only are the surroundings beautiful, but it was a much needed break from the constant motion of Medellín! Paola and the guests staying there were very welcoming, I felt right at home, and was able to cozy up with a book and some freshly made tea after eating. Next time I’m in Colombia I will definitely be staying for a few days instead of a few hours! Hasta luego 😇🌿🌞

Paola‘s farm is an absolutely magical place, it is so calm and the view is stunning! It is beautifully embedded in its nature around. We really enjoyed getting so many insights into permacultural farming and Paola’s delicious food of course! It’s all made super fresh mostly from veggies straight out of the own garden, the food alone is absolutely worth a visit!
We had a wonderful time with Paola, the goats and the people around. Gracias chica!

The day visit was exactly what I wanted to see, the beautiful countryside. The host speaks perfect English and was very Accommodating. I took a morning yoga class then had a simple green clean breakfast. As I ate outside on the patio I was immersed with a beautiful view of greenland and mountains. It was amazing and the air was so fresh.

After breakfast I had a tour of the organic farm and learned about sustainable practices. I will definitely visit again on my next trip to Columbia. I so enjoyed Colombia in general. The people were very friendly and helpful.

Oh, the owner also had a Spanish school. The bonus was meeting her students and guest. They were a great resource since many were backpacking through Colombia.

My friend and I decided we needed to learn more Spanish while travelling through South America, and I managed to find an absolute gem in the Guatapé mountains! This vegan, yoga and Spanish combination was a wellness retreat and an education in spanish and vegan cooking. Paola is an amazing vegan cook! Especially with gorbanzos!! 🤣 her falafels are amazing! So knowledgeable on health and organic farming. The Spanish classes were short in time, each day but intense. And there is a lovely atmosphere in this place. We both loved the yoga each morning and our Italian yoga instructor Daniel was the best! Thanks for an unforgettable 5 days Paola! Lots of love the Irish girls! ☘❤

Our family spent an absolutely amazing week at the farm. We studied Spanish in the mornings (our kids had their own wonderful teacher!) and spent time hiking to waterfalls (or to the town for ice cream) in the afternoons. Paola is such a special, warm person and she has put all of herself into creating this peaceful space. We were so grateful to be able to share it with her, the animals and all of the friends and guests we met during our stay.

I flew the loud city Medellin and found this lovely place surrounded by green mountains. Paola creates a home for anyone who wants to join. It attracts wonderful people and I could really fill up my energy. The food is delicious and the Spanish class rich in content! The quality of the yoga depends on the volunteer that is doing the yoga in that week. I loved the "cell phone only in the room" - policy, which was really refreshing and good for community building! At the evenings we sat at the front porch and watched the lightnings and thunders. This place is all about a simple living, so don't expect luxury. Allow yourself to rethink what you really need in live. I didn't want to leave after 2 weeks! <3

I've stayed 2 weeks at Paolas place and i have enjoyed every second. The surroundings are just incredible, wonderful hikes, crystal clear rivers, waterfalls snd mountains, and everything is just amazingly green due to the fact it rains almost every night but the sun shines during the day.
The food was amazing and very creative, also with fresh vegetables from her garden (not always) which just taste amazing, i still have that taste in my mouth from the pasta she did wirh fresh tomatoes and basil xD.
As i did the volunteering and took no classes, i can't valuate de courses paolas offers.
The energy from the place and from paola were quite inspirational for me, as i also seek a simple lifestyle in harmony with nature. As a volunteer i really appreciated that Paola did some compromises about what i would like to do and what is needed to do, as she really seeks that everyone is having a good time. Don't expext a Spa hotel or something, but do expect a great experience away from the stress and tentations of modern lifestyle.
It has been a pleasure for me, thank you Paola, i hope to return someday.
