Pikatas Tamarindo

Stopped in for dinner after being in the water and sun all day. Great food choices and nice selection of drinks. Fast service, clean. Very friendly attentive staff. Definitely recommend.

Meat and seafood platter were amazing! Ask for a second order of rice and you’ll be good to serve 4 people… EASILY! All different kinds of meat and veggies. The sauce for the seafood was so delicious that the person that doesn’t eat sea food was able to eat it and really enjoyed it. Won’t be disappointed!

Great family Restaurant in the heart of Tamerindo Costa Rica. Great service from Juan, Jay, Jose, Tania and others. The fact that I got their name shows how much I appreciated them! Super friendly and offer vegan and gluten free options. Great food, hot when it comes to the table and great option for your first restaurant to stop at in Costa Rica. Dont forget to try a Chiliguaro !

Love it here few blocks from mar rey hotel guys let me tell you drinks are amazing,food diversity is perfect seafood ,steaks,burgers, live music etc etc both English and Spanish but mostly English we came here 3 times and by far is my favorite spot you can ask for Jose the waitress is great

We stopped in for drinks and appetizers. I had the octopus and it was very tasty! My wife had the tostones, she enjoyed them as well.

Visited Pikatas for the first time while visiting Tamarindo, and had an amazing time! The service from Daniel was as remarkable as the fancy cocktails and delicious food. If you are looking for a place to try for food and drinks, I would highly recommend Daniel's spot! You will not regret it :)

We came across this fun and welcoming restaurant on the main strip in Tamarindo. We were instantly welcomed by our wonderful server Daniel. He was amazing in every aspect of his job and his personality shined! We had delicious food and drinks. There was a talented live performer who provided great entertainment for the evening. I highly recommend visiting Pikatas!

This place is absolutely amazing!! We ate at a few different places while we were in Costa Rica but this was by far my favorite! The ceviche was amazing!!! The atmosphere, the people who work there, the live music and the food was amazing part of my whole experience. Oh and the best pizza I've ever had! You gotta check this place out.

I was part of a large group (17), and they easily accommodated us with two hours notice. Our server, Jose, made great recommendations and provided prompt service. The ceviche was delicious!

Great place to stop for a drink. They usually have live music and the atmosphere is great. Martha is the house cat and is usually asleep on a chair outside.

We dined here twice on our trip. First time we ordered from the broad menu. The second seating we brought some freshly caught grouper and tuna and Pikatas prepared our fish perfectly. The tuna was phenomenal, prepared in tar tar and sashimi. So fresh and so well prepared along with some recommended sides. Highly recommended

This place is cool, and the bartender totally rocks!

Jose was exceptional, pizza was delicious, well done. Great service. Prices reasonable, clay oven cooked thin crust yummy pizza. Will come again

Amazing food and a great atmosphere, the lobster in particular was delicious. Daniel was fantastic and was an incredible host. Highly recommend this place.

I had dinner here tonight with my kids. There is definitely something for everyone on this menu. Great live music and people watching. The ribeye was delicious with spectacular presentation!

was looking for a place to grab a drink on my last night in tamarindo and we came across pikatas! the live music was awesome, and the environment was really cool and everything was very clean. we sat at the bar and henzi (probably spelled his name wrong) was serving us. incredible service on his behalf, he was very friendly and made the BEST coco loco i’ve ever had! will definitely be coming back here next time i’m in the area <3
