Casa Taupe

Really wonderful place. Roberto was a wonderful host. I can only highly recommend if you are in the area and looking for a place .

The guesthouse is located in Estrada, just a bit north of Carillo. Bus route is easy and has stop in front of Casa Taupe. Excellent place for quiet and privacy.

The host Roberto is the nicest and personally makes very healthy and tasty breakfast for you! He lives onsite and is helpful with anything you need.

There are single rooms and the double room downstairs is a full apartment that backs to private jungle area. Beautiful!

Great little hideway away from hustle and bustle of Samara, close to some beautiful beaches. Excellent supporting host who will make your stay special. Nicely decorated rooms wirh attention to detail. Spacious room with good layout.

Casa Taupe is cozy, surrounded by nature located in one of the most exotic and secluded destinations in Costa Rica, Playa Carrillo, in Nicoya Peninsula.

From Casa Taupe you will have easy access to other beaches like Camaronal Beach, which is a surf paradise (only for experiences surfers). You can visit the small village of Samara where you can find a vast offer of restaurants.

Roberto is a great host and he will make you feel more than a traveler, as a friend.

Don’t be surprised by the monkeys playing around from one tree to another.

Très bien accueilli , le hôte parle très bien français. Belle chambre spacieuse et propre. très bien placé a 3 minutes a pied de la supertette et très bon soda ( restaurant local) a 1 minute de voiture station essance et 6 minutes de la plage. Belle surprise les singes hurleurs dans l'arbre en face de la chambre faisaient leur sieste l'après-midi! ( nous avons eu la chance de les entendre la première nuit )
il y a aussi petit espace extérieur à l'ombre avec table et chaises.

Logement très fonctionnel et spacieux à 15 minutes en voiture de Samara. Excellent rapport qualité prix.Hôte agréable et qui parle très bien français.

Sin duda un espacio maravilloso, cómodo y muy accesible. Una noche muy placentera y un amanecer irradiado de muchos relajantes sonidos... Hermosa vegetación!!! Un rico desayuno....

Super freundlich und ein wirklich tolles Bad.
Es steht ein großes Raum mit gemütlichem Bett zur Verfügung.
Ein kleiner Kühlschrank steht bereit.
Man kann super draußen sitzen und alles genießen.
Ein kleiner Punkt stört. Leider waren die Möbel draußen super dreckig und auch innen hätte man evtl nochmal fegen können.
Wir waren aber auch sehr spontan in unserer Buchung.
Wer kein Auto4x4 hat wird Schwierigkeiten bekommen die Cabinas zuerreichen. Man muss einen sehr steilen Berg hoch.
Es liegt etwas außerhalb, aber es gibt die Möglichkeit was zu essen.
Wir würden auf jeden Fall hier wieder übernachten!

La chambre est très propre ,le couchage et confortable,salle de bain très bien ,clim,frigo, bouilloire très pratique , l'endroit manque quand même de charme (extérieur) mais c'est tranquille pas de bruit sauf des singes 😂😂.
Le patron est très sympathique et parle bien français pour vous donner des infos sur le coin
