The chicken and pork tacos were fantastic. Beef was a bit dry but still good. Quesadillas were very good. My son and his wife had something else and they both were pleased. The margaritas were good. They have gluten free options but not marked on the menu. Beware the menu was not translated to English and no one at the counter seemed to speak English.

We got in Costa Rica few days ago and tried many restaurants. Distrito Federal (knows as DF) in Santa Ana town center is one of the best restaurant in the area. Our plan was to try different places to experience different local food and learn more about cuisine culture here, after experiencing many other places we ended up saying DF is something different and we ended up stop experiencing and stick to DF for rest of our trip. This place has very friendly and professional staff as well and each day they surprised us with something new. Francisco, Fiorera, Sharon and Omar work in this place and they are very friendly, professional and surprised us each time with something new and yummy. I believe owner of this restaurant is lucky to have them running his business. See some photos

Real mexican taste food not found anywhere else in Costa Rica. I love it.

Amazing spot in a safe place for a lunch of dinner. Great Mexican taste with fair prices. Try Tacos or the Azteca Soup for a no miss chance of enjoying a good meal. House made hot sauce avail as well.

Incredible Mexican food with a great view! We lived in Mexico for over 3 years, and this food was just as good if not better. We ordered a maracuya drink, La Torta Cubana, and Torta Chillakiller. La Torta Cubana was huge and packed with plenty of ingredients including chicken, beef milanesa, a fried egg, cheese, avocado, and beans. Since we live here in Santa Ana, we will return on a monthly basis.

Its hard for me to choose a different restaurant inside Town Center, this one is flawless. Everything I have had there is outstanding. I think they make the BEST Michelada Mexicano in the while world!

They have a new menu but the favorites are still there. The tostadas atun are phenomenal!

Great restaurant! Food tastes delicious and pricing is low considering quantity and quality. It was freshly cooked, portions were big. They had a fair amount of beverages choices.

Hands down the absolutely GOAT. Delicious, perfect Birria Tacos, the Aztec Soup surpassed all my expectations, the tortas are incredible and kudos to the bartenders who makes the best margaritas & mezcalitas in town.

It was best tacos I ever had I had the triple meat tacos if you really like good tacos this is the place to go

DF is a small flavoury island in the middle of a fast food plaza, great bar, great food, make sure you order a Modelada when you come around, cheers!
They also have a great selection of Tequila and Mezcal, do not miss your chance to have something from their sea food menu.

Everything this place serves is absolutely phenomenal, from the tacos to the drinks. It's the only place I know of in Costa Rica that serves authentic chilaquiles too! The best Mexican in the country by far.

Authentic Mexican food in Costa Rica. Not the international way. But really Mexican. If you have adventure culinary spirit, try Tacos de Tripa. Excelente.
