Hospital Metropolitano - Lindora

As an International tourist I broke my elbow in Costa Rica. I underwent surgery in this hospital under full anesthesia. I was well received by the doctors and nurses in English. The facility and equipment were of a high standard. Anesthesia was very well done as I remember nothing from the operation yet woke up clear headed. I spent one night. The hospital also provided post operative wound care at my San Jose hotel. I recommend this hospital for International travelers.

Easy to arrange appointments. Phone staff via MediSmart very helpful. English spoken. Always had a very professional and caring experience with the doctors here at Lindora and in the San Jose location. Highly recommend MediSmart and Hospital Metropolitano.

i made a mistake by reading these google reviews before going for my same day knee surgery visit. The adnministration, staff nurses and doctors were very professional and courteous. i had some hesitation but that too soon disappeared nce the administartion started helping me so much.

While traveling in Costa Rica, I needed to go to the hospital. This place was very friendly, fast, and helpful. With no appointment, they had me in and out in two hours. This included a cat scan and results, and a doctor written report to provide to my insurance in the US for a claim. Thanks!

Warm and professional attention

Als deutsche Touristin erlitt ich bei einem Quad-Unfall einen offenen, doppelten Wadenbeinbruch und wurde 10 Tage in der Klinik behandelt. Von der Aufnahme, 3 x Operation inkl. Narkose, Pflegeteam, Ärzteteam, Ausstattung, Wunschkost, Kommunikation mit meiner Versicherung bis hin zur Entlassung ist dieses Krankenhaus eine 10/ 10.
Als ITS-Pflegekraft der Charité/ Berlin/ Deutschland mit 30 Jahren Berufserfahrung habe ich genug Erfahrung, um beurteilen zu können, dass ich hier nach modernsten Standards behandelt wurde. Der Anästhesist Dr. Jaime Hall R. hat mir die Spinalanaesthesie inkl. Beinblock schon unter Propofol verabreicht, sodass ich diese nicht merkte und ich nach den Narkosen keine negativen Nachwirkungen hatte. Der Traumatologe/ Operateur Dr. Ramírez traf kluge Entscheidungen und hielt mich darüber auch immer uptodate.
Durch den offenen Bruch inkl. Fremdkörper vom Quad im Gewebe war die 1. Operation nur Wundreinigung. In der 2. Operation wurde eine VAC-Therapie angelegt und am 5. Tag nach Unfall konnten endlich die Brüche fixiert werden. Physiotherapie begann am 3. postoperativen Tag nach Bruchstabilisierung und zwar 2x täglich!
Auch 2 x täglich kommen die Ernährungsberater, um die Kostwünsche abzufragen. Und hier ist Wunschkost echte Wunschkost.
Die Kommunikation wäre auch problemlos mit Jedem in Englisch möglich. Und es ist für einem Angehörigen Rooming-in gestattet.

Me realice una cirugía hace unos 4 días y solo puedo decir que la atención fue excelente departe de todos los funcionarios del hospital desde el ingreso hasta la salida me trataron muy bien siempre atentos revisando cada detalle a cada momento la alimentación y atención excelente desde el guarda de seguridad , recepción y cada una de las enfermeras en especial Carol Rojas y la dra que realizó la cirugía Dra. Bagnarello un excelente ser humano y profesional sin duda alguna lo recomiendo. 10/10

Las instalaciones son cómodas, limpias. El lugar se encuentra bien organizado y cuenta con cafetería y servicios sanitarios. Amplio estacionamiento de pago justo al frente.

Tuve una excelente visita, estuve en una cirugía ambulatoria y todo salió muy bien, todos son amables y serviciales, el trato 10/10 y el tiempo de espera también, además mantuvieron a mi familia informada en todo momento. Desde antes de mi cita estuvieron en contacto conmigo y me guiaron en todo el proceso. Agradezco mucho a los que cuidaron de mi las horas que estuve en el hospital y por preocuparse por cada detalle para que estuviera cómoda y me recuperara bien.

Tuve una cirugía ambulatoria aquí, y el personal fué impecable en su trato. Quirófanos y equipo de alta tecnología. Ademas, el servicio en cajas y logística para darme de alta fue muy rápido.

Muy buena atención por parte de los médicos, las chicas de recepción son muy amables, les recomiendo adquiran plan con medismart para que obtengan buenos descuentos en consultas y farmacia. Satisfecha con la atención

Atencion del personal, desde el portero pasando por recepcion y de cara al tecnologo medico con un nivel de servicio de alto nivel y camaraderia. Los procesos administrativos funcionan con altos estandares de eficiencia y el personal muy bien capacitado. Instalaciones muy bien aseadas y mantenidas. I went to Lindora Medical Center for extreme dizziness and a swelling on my leg that was warm to the touch. I was desperate, in pain and unable to stand for more than a few seconds. The center is amazingly clean, quiet and with the low lighting that is especially soothing for someone who’s ill. The staff from administrative to medical were attentive, knowledgeable, professional, and kind. The visit was quick and affordable, particularly if you don’t have health insurance. It’s much more affordable than health services in the U.S. All in all, this is right place when you’re ill and though I hate medical facilities as a rule, I wouldn’t hesitate to go there again.
Fui al Centro Médico Lindora por mareos extremos y una hinchazón en la pierna que era cálida al tacto. Estaba desesperado, dolorido e incapaz de soportarme por más de unos pocos segundos. El centro es increíblemente limpio, silencioso y con poca luz que es especialmente relajante para alguien que está enfermo. El personal administrativo y médico fue atento, eficiente, profesional y amable. La visita fue rápida y asequible, especialmente si no tiene seguro de salud. Es mucho más asequible que los servicios de salud en los EE. UU. En general, este es el lugar correcto cuando estás enfermo y, aunque por lo general odio las instalaciones médicas, no dudaría en volver.

Lo recomiendo, de verdad no comprendo porque existe tantas personas tan incomodas. Me leei los malos comentarios que están aquí publicados, y de verdad tengo que decir que la gente de verdad es bastante incomoda. Es de lógica que vas a ir a un centro de atención y si tienes a 5 o 10 personas por delante, vas a tardar un rato... Yo recomiendo el lugar
