Tio Kaco is a great little barber shop located in the center of town in Villa Real, just across from the football field.. For $7 my son and I have gotten some our best haircuts here.. There is only one chair here so there’s usually a wait, and the barbers are in no rush (Tico time is super real!! 😝) but it is absolutely worth it.. Their attention to detail and level of skill are truly impressive.. Of you’re in the Tamarindo area looking for a haircut give this barber shop a try!! ⚡💈✂👌🏼 ⚡

Excellent in all ways. Super clean and stylish space, professional and personable service, fair prices, and a great haircut as well. It’s also really nice to see locals operate successful small businesses here in Costa Rica, and support them. Two thumbs up, highly recommended!

Been to barbershops all over the US and Europe, been to the best barbers in China and Thailand. This barbershops is definitely in the top 3 of the best haircuts I have had! And he gets it right the first time you explain, he listens to what you say and proposes options.
If you stay in Tamarindo it’s definitely worth the trip!

Friendly staff and a great cut. I got there when they opened to avoid the wait time in the afternoon. They open a little after 9:30am. Roberto did a great job and has a nice station. Clean cut.

Among the best haircut I've had anywhere . Putting United States barbers and salons to shame! Haircut and shave has been about 5000 colones ($10).
