Bavard cafe

My Second time visiting here for the Fabulous Eggs Benedict and they did not disappoint. As wonderful and delicious as the first time, although I did miss them not having any smoked salmon available on the menu this time around. The staff were wonderful, as was the overall vibe.

Visiting Bavard Cafe was one of the best decisions we made during our trip. We went there for breakfast on February 10th and included it in our Brno day tour based on its excellent reputation and positive reviews.

We ordered the Eggs Benedict and the pancakes with crispy bacon, and both were absolutely delicious! This cafe is a must-try for anyone visiting Brno. The portions are generous, the presentation is beautiful, and a big shoutout to the chef and the entire kitchen team! The staff was also very accommodating, even refilling our hot water for our tumbler before we left.

A word of caution: they only accept cash. However, overall, we were so impressed that we will definitely visit again to try their other menu items.

Very special and high quality place. Cash only thought that it is quite not convenient. Coffee and service were great, food too! Eggs were a little bit slimy, but this is just a bit. French toast was amazing!

We ate breakfast two times at this place and it was by far the best we had during our whole Czech Rep trip. Their dishes were delicious and the service was excellent. Although it was quite busy, our order was served very fast and everything was of high quality. All four of us left with the best of impressions. I totally recommend it.

Probably the best eggs benedict I had so far. And all other breakfast picks looked amazing as well. Making a reservation at this place is greatly recommended to avoid potential disappointment because Bavard is usually packed.

I would kill for their french toast. Love it. It is a huge portion though, so when I am done eating I don’t want to see it for another half a year and after that I crave it again and the whole circle can start all over again 😁. There’s one flaw - only cash payment.

In this small coffee place we return every time when we are in Brno, it already became our MUST for the brunch. The service is always very kind and friendly. We tried a lot of their dishes already and they were always delicious. Absolutely recommend!

Looks totally unremarkable from the outside, you are very likely to pass it by unless you heard about the place. But inside - its really a fantastic breakfast place. Small but cozy and the food is great! Eggs Benedict were amazing! Watch out that they only take cash and that place is extremely busy, very risky to come without a reservation

The food and coffee were delicious ! The staff is friendly, and the location is cosy enough .
The one thing is that they only accept cash, but there's an 🏧 nearby

Great place. The Bacon Benedict was drowned in Sauce Hollaindese just like I love it! I can highly recommend this place!!!

Decided to visit this place with my girlfriend in the morning and it was a great decision.
The place was full. However a table became available just right after we arrived. So make sure to make a reservation.
The food was great. Very fresh and quality ingredients. They also serve you big portions.

My favorite place in Brno! Everything is beautiful and scrumptious! Location has great ambiance too! The kitchen closes at variable times, depending upon how busy they’ve been, so get there before around 1:30 or call if it’s in the afternoon. They sometimes claim to run out of food. They probably bring in their amazing brioche bread fresh daily. The food wouldn’t be the same without it!

The art of breakfast. Will remember visiting this place for a very long time. Eggs crafter to perfection.. I can not explain how tasty it is. Just amazing!

Unfortunately i was the last table at same time and i waited for more than 40 minutes.
Servers, food, interiors and others were perfect except waiting time. Especially food were exceptionally good compared to other breakfast restaurant :D please reserve and visit !!!!!

Best eggs Benedict in Brno. Reservation recommended especially for weekends. Coffee is rather average, service is excellent. Place to go for breakfast lovers!

The service could be better.

Super delicious breakfast place with variety of options inclusive eggs prepared in different ways with sausages/ham, or ligher versions with avocado or cottage cheese. Also great coffee and fresh juices.
Plus: very generous meal size and staff is super friendly and cool.

Only flaw that I found is that tabela are too close in some parts of cafe which can be a bit problematic if people sitting next to you are bit louder (which happened to us)

A great location for an excellent breakfast, either savory or sweet (or both for these capable of it). Most coffee options are available iced as well, a good choice in summer.
