Sala Thai Restaurant

Authentic and delicious Thai food. A bit expensive, but worth it. The interior is VERY nice and it almost feels like you are actually in Thailand. They have an area where you take your shoes off and sit lowered down, but we unfortunately were shown to a normal table.

The restaurant provides a pleasant and intimate atmosphere, creating an immersive experience reminiscent of Thailand. The green curry is notably flavorful, the piña colada is exceptional, and the coconut ice cream stands out as the best we've encountered.

Thai restaurant with a fine dining experience right by the Grasbrookhafen. Despite a little bit pricey, it is on par with the quality of service and food that they provide. Their mango sticky rice tasted the same way as if you get it in Thailand.
Def will come here again but for special occasions tho.

P.S: the mango sticky rice photo is not consume at the restaurant. I ordered another portion and ate it when I got back in my flat

very nice food, nice and clean restaurant. we needed to take shoes off for special corner in the restaurant where you sit on a carpet with a cheat (there is extra space under the table for your legs ;)) I like really hot food, if you ask you get really hot food!!

Absolutely love Sala Thai! Somewhere I always try to come when in Hamburg!

The staff lovely and restaurant itself is very well laid out and well decorated. Great view over the harbour too.

Menus are available in English as well as German. I would highly recommend the set menu - at around 60€ they seem a little expensive, but one would easily satisfy two people! The main course alone is four dishes and rice; plus a starter and soup!

They have a mittagsmenu even on Saturday. Amazing food at an affordable price. Most authentic thai food, I have eater in recent times. Multiple Vegetarian friendly options as-well.

The place is homey and quaint typical of an Asian restaurant.
Service is good.
Food is superb. I highly recommend to visit and try the food.

One of the best Thai restaurants I have ever tried. Went back as soon as possible after covid and still the same great taste and service. Beautiful views on the water. Little bit spicy, which I like. Can definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very nice location with view to harbor city. traditional orientate any you even can sitz like locals in Thailand so enjoy good food and nice service

Excellent quality food specially - we had the lamb with wine sauce, glass noodles salad with prawns and the chicken with basil. Service is good but this is an expensive place with average plates costing 20 EUR or more. Healthy quantity so order with care.

Great massage! The place was very well decorated and clean. Staff was really nice and spoke English which was a plus since my German is not very good. The masseuse targeted my tight areas and she bent my body in ways I didn’t think were possible and it felt amazing! Definitely will be back!

Great location, beautiful restaurant with small but well decorated terrace. Food was amazing, i had some fish dish, very well seasoned/marinated. Will definitely be back soon.

The best place for us on Hafencity.
We have been coming to Sala Thai for years together now and the place has not disappointed us ever. Any guests we have brought ahs loved the place, the ambience and the food. Nice staff and can relate to.

In general I really like the place, food is good, service is good and the location looks very nice. They just raised the price over time a bit too much.
