Marstal Søfartsmuseum

Essentially it’s the Louvre but with ships. Models of ships, drawings of ships, paintings of ships… little ships in a bottle (seriously, hundreds of ships in bottles). This incredible collection is meticulously organized and intimately connected to the fascinating maritime history of Marstal. The gallery of Carl Rasmussen paintings alone is worth the visit. Give yourself plenty of time and enjoy!

Great museum, at first I was unsure if to actually go in as it looks small for the money they charge, I am glad we did it is much bigger than it looks and the kids loved the craft room halfway round making boats and lighthouses. We ended up spending a lot more time in here than we planned for.

eat, sleep, go sailing? meet all that belongs to a life at sea.

This is a great museum, both for adults and children. Great models with real equipment where you can walk / crawl in and experience what it is like on a ship.

Very nice museum with lots of scale models of sailing ships and the history and development of cargo ships. Its a big museum so take at least two hours of time.

Зовні невеликий будинок, всередині цілі світи з чудовими експозиціями побуту, моряків, кораблів, різних країн, у дворі для дітей щогла, привітна та мила працівниця Анісія. Marstall Søfartsmuseum для тих хто любить море, обов'язково потрібно відвідати.

Vi var 3 personer inde, at besøge museet. Vi var alle sammen benovet over hvor gennemført udstillingen var. Syntes det hele var bygget op på en spændende og indbydende måde

Virkelig smukt og spændende museum, fyldt med spændende info (men ikke for mange), flotte modeller og fantastiske malerier, samt måske mest fascinerende, en stor samling af genstande bragt hjem fra den store verden af lokale sømænd. Tæt på mit hjerte er også legepladsen udformet efter Martha.
