Friendly Teddy by Thomas Dambo nr. 14.

We have been troll hunting for someone and trust we visited Teddy.

The idea 💡 behind these trolls is great and Teddy is located about 400 m from the parking area. There is a nice lake, shelter area close by and small, cozy walking paths

I can recommend a visit with a picnic 🧺 and/ or coffee ☕

There is not much space around the giant to chill, just a bench made of tree. But it was stil lenough for 3 of us to have a small piknik

Teddy Friendly is a recycle sculpture Thomas Dambo made as a part of the larger project “Forgotten Giants”. This is one of them and invites the visitors to go on a treasure hunt, not only to see the sculptures, but also to discover hidden gems in nature. Its very interesting also for kids. I definitely recommend a visit.

One of the old(er) trolls by Dambo but still in very very good condition. We love all trolls!

Found another one of the forgotten Giants of Vestegnen. It is located ....she... Well I can't really tell you. You will have to find it yourself. Google is your friend.
It is a lovely walk. There is some construction going on in the area but still worth the short walk. Maybe do some research before leaving. Parking can be an issue otherwise.

Love these beautiful hidden Giants. This was the second one I have visited and am definitely going for the last ones in the future :-)

Well hidden, but still easy to find and get to.

It was indeed perfectly hidden beside a lake. This was our last stop after finding the other 5 forgotten giants.

The area is very nice, and the sculpture well done. It also acts as a small bridge

This one was the loveliest of all 6 hidden giants in the Western part of Copenhagen area. It is built of recycled tree (like the other 5 sculptures), but this one is made more interestingly and its arm serves as a small bridge over a very small river. Do not let small children to climb it or walk on the bridge on their own. It makes for some great pictures though. Located not that far away from an improvised free parking space and just a short walk to the nearby bus stop. If you want to avoid the crowds in the weekend you should visit it during the week or early in the morning.

Loved this gentle giant. It's set in beautiful surroundings just next to a lake. One of the best giants.

Teddy Friendly is yet another awesome sculpture created by Thomas Dambo and his team. Standing besides the lake, he helps humans to cross a stream of water using his long arm as a bridge.
It’s a lot of fun to hunt for these giant wooden Trolls scattered around Denmark (and in other places of the World). Check the list "Trolls in Denmark" on google maps to find the location of the other members of the family ;).

Really amazing work by the artist, and the journey to find these giants is a good part of the fun.

Like all of the hidden giants, Teddy is in an amazing setting. We found a pleasant area nearby for a picnic and lie in the sun before riding home again. Highly recommend.

Beautifully made, takes a short walk. If you want to see all 6 giants it takes some driving with your car and you will need at least 3 hours and if you have kids probably double it as some giants are close to cool playgrounds and parks. You could easily make it a full day.
