Wauw! Expensive, but soooo worth it. Another gem in the crown of Danish cooking. Loved the concept with the elements and that no menu was the same two days in a row.

The service was up there but turned a bit shy compared to other places I been to. But they were very professional and nice to talk with. You were on a journey all the way from when you arrived to you left, we had food/drinks five different places throughout the experience and the main dining experience was very nice and you felt like you where out on water amongst other boats, because the waiters made the sails move every time the moved past them.

THE FOOD WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD!

Would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for gourmet and a very nice dining experience 😊

Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Lyst in Vejle, and it was truly a delightful experience. The restaurant's cozy and inviting atmosphere immediately set the tone for a wonderful day. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed from the moment we stepped in.

The menu at Lyst offers a perfect take on Danish classics, providing a diverse selection to suit various palates. The rich and savory flavors were a true homage to the local cuisine.

The dessert was the perfect ending to our meal - sweet treats are not usually my favourite but these we're amazing 😀

Overall, Lyst in Vejle exceeded my expectations in every way. From the ambiance to the food and service, it was a top-notch dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional culinary journey in Vejle.

I was hesitant about traveling all the way from Copenhagen to dine here, but once I arrived, I knew I made the right decision. The service, food, and ambiance were impeccable. Loved seeing how they make use of the local resources and Fjordenhus is a sight to be seen. Also grateful that Chef Daniel McBurnie spent a considerable amount of time chatting with me. Another place I need to return to if I make it back to Denmark.

Magnificent. A holistic dining experience bordering on perfection. Visit it now, before the Michelin Guide drops stars on it and it becomes impossible to get a reservation.

My wife and I dined at Restaurant Lyst Saturday May 29th 2021.

The experience was exquisite! Surrounded with beautiful architecture, custom made furniture and special designed “eating tools” we enjoyed a very special afternoon/evening.

We were served 19 dishes and nothing disappointed. The menu was created with all the best of local produce from the area around Vejle which was extremely well composed and tasteful.

The exclusive wine pairing was spot on - well balanced and elevated the menu to perfection.

The staff was beaming with enthusiasm all over the restaurant and it was a pleasure to have a precise presentation of each serving always delivered with a smile and a bit of humor. This was exactly like we love to be served - discrete staff and when you need them they are just there.

Highly recommended - Michelin stars just around the corner.

Lyst is coordinated in every detail based on a set of values. Nothing is bang-in-your-face, but everything is aligned and it elevates the restaurant to an incredible level. Scenery, atmosphere, service, food & wine supports the "whole". Each element is fantastic, but together this experience is outstanding, and I will probably think back on it for a very, very long time.

Please note that this restaurant is a lesson in finesse. So if you don't have some insight into the complexity of Grand Cuisine, then I would recommend that you invite someone who has. What Restaurant Lyst delivers is incredibly difficult.

I have not experienced anything like this in Denmark... And I have been around, you know ;-)

En af Jyllands mest spændende restaurantger der giver en total oplevelse der kombinerer ekstraordinære madoplevelser med god service i en fanatisk bygning.
Min varmeste anbefaling ... husk fast mødetid og god t ca 4,5 time, menuen kan ikke vælges - kun hvilken vin / vinmenu

Ich war letzten August im Restaurant Lyst essen und zehre immer noch an den schönen Erinnerungen… Hoffentlich ergibt sich mal wieder die Gelegenheit auf einen Besuch.

Fantastisk helhedsoplevelse!

Der er dogmer i forhold til råvare, der skal være skaffet inden for en kort afstand fra restauranten. Heldigvis gælder det ikke vinen. Kommer man bare for at spise sig mæt bliver man nok irriteret. Det er en sanseoplevelse, hvor der er overraskelser, uforudsete input, sjove og skæve vinkler på det meste og story-telling på den helt store klinge.

Vores oplevelse begyndte kl. 13 med en rundvisning, efterfulgt af velkomstbobler inden vi valgte menuen (her er - udover formentlig allergier og lignende - intet at vælge mellem) og den mellemste vinmenu. Den billigste var mere eksperimenterende vine, den mellemste var vine der var matchet til maden og den store var store vine, der ikke nødvendigvis spillede 100 % med maden. Vi følte nu ikke, at vi gik på kompromis.

Alle tjenere var i topklasse og håndværket her var på lige så tårnhøjt niveau som i køkkenet.

Cirka 6 en halv time efter drak vi det sidste glas cognac på terrassen foran bålpladsen og sagde tak for i aften.

Det kan klart anbefales, for selvom det koster mange penge, er det ikke dyrt i forhold til hvad man får.

Mad på tostjernet Michelin niveau. Aldrig for meget og aldrig for lidt på tallerkenen. Meget præcis. En stor oplevelse.

En mad og sanseoplevelse i særklasse. Top professionel og nærværende betjening giver prikken over i’et i en fuldstændig outstanding total-oplevelse. Jeg stemmer for at LYST opnår endnu en stjerne i det kommende år. ⭐⭐

En helt fantastisk oplevelse. Mad i topklasse. Personale der servicerer til topkarakter. Dejlig afslappende atmosfære og skønne omgivelser. Der er styr på ALT og man føler sig i den grad velkommen og godt tilpas. Vi ses helt sikkert igen.

Svært at få armene ned efter et besøg på LYST. Alt går op i en højere enhed, omgivelser, personale og gastronomi…. Værd at køre meget langt efter… vi venter kun på flere stjerner.

Fantastisk oplevelse og mad. De ansatte er gode til at fortælle om retter og vine. De formår at få alt til at smage virkelig lækkert. Omgivelserne er meget unikke. Det kan klart anbefales.
