Amazing staff and small bunker, alot of things to see, you will be surprised to know that this is mostly amateur private collection.
Great guided tours English and Danish.
The shop is also so cool.
Thank you for the opportunity.
See you again

Read another review that called this a "hidden gem" and that is such a perfect description that I just want to second it. Got a 2½ hour very thorough and interactive tour for 60dkk which is just ridiculously cheap. Way bigger, and more interesting that I would've ever imagined and incredibly friendly volunteers who work there. They also offer genuinely cool merchandise for practically no money. Cannot recommend enough - and definitely go for the guided tour if possible.

After all the 'regular' and fency museums and attractions, this is a must visit. A time capsule amazingly preserved. It is voluntarily maintained, and the staff is super friendly and keeps the place tidy and with good atmosphere. Although not much is in English, you can still understand most of the exhibits, and if you have any questions the staff will assist. A true gem, and recommended for all - even for kids.

Was not a planned stop but really pleased we did. Peter provided a fantastic touring experience clearly showing his passion for the role. Our Danish is not the best so Peter kindly delivered the experience in English.

Huge thank you and recommeded for others.

Incredibly interesting, a bit overwhelming and relevant. Wonderful guide that had a dramaturgic talent and it felt very real and interactive.

Absolutely great experience, it's not a museum, rather a voyage back in time. Do take the guided tour (free, when we were there at 11:00), the guide is a passionate).
You can pay by mastercard now (the website is a little outdated)

If your interested in the cold war and other civil defence crisis, this is very good. Guided tour of the bunker is very informative as well.

A wonderfully maintained museum as it was when it was in use years ago. Most signs are in Danish, with a few informational plaques in English and German.

Very well maintained place, and the guides are all former "employees" that are really passionate about the activities performed there and the routine preparation for possible events that could happen in the area. An excellent place to go for everyone interested in the cold war period.

An amazing experience! It is truly sad that the museum is not as known as it should be one of the must see places in Odense. It is driven by volunteers who are knowledgeable, entertaining story tellers with a great sense of humour! For only 50 kr you will get a 2 hour (!) tour into the past and get insights about the Danish history.

I could see how much the people care about what they do, and it inspired me greatly ❤

The tour is in Danish, but the guides can still give a brief introduction in English, and the suitcase gun will give you a feeling of being in a James Bond movie 👌😎

Incredibly interesting place and surprisingly cheap too, only 50 kroner (when I was there). It's been renovated and set up like it would have been back in the day with call centers and a control room. There's also a small museum connected to it showing how people would have lived in bunkers and how the uniforms changed over time. There's a free guided tour as well which took about an hour and 45 minutes. It adds a lot so I recommend taking the tour of you have time.

Excellent experience. Though there’s insufficient English signage, the guided tour was great and it’s in English. Admission is Kr. 50 per person. Highly recommended.

Small but perfectly preserved regional command bunker, built in the 50s and used until the 1990s, then used as a nuclear accident command bunker until 2008. Staff are fantastic

One of the best little museums I’ve been to! Very interesting, and the volunteers were so friendly and explained the history of the bunker and the exhibits to us. This was the highlight of Odense for us!
