The most gorgeous museum building with a great view. The collection of Johannes Larsen and other local painters is magnificent. Visit on a sunny day, and make sure you have coffee - or lunch - in the garden. Changing special exhibitions that generally also center around nature.

The Johannes Larsen Museum in Kerteminde is a great place to visit if you are interested in the history of art. Johannes Larsen was a Danish painter who lived 1867-1961.

The museum is divided into six parts: 1. Entrance and museum shop. 2. The villa. 3. The workshop. 4. The exhibition hall. 5. The park. 6. The old mill and the kitchen garden.

There are guided tours to different areas of the museum at different times. The guided tours are free once you have paid your ticket. The museum is closed on Mondays.

Outstanding art and in the most beautiful surroundings.

Well, this is a charming very Danish museum in a nice town near the beach ( and mini golf for the kids).
If you don't know him he is a discovery for all tastes.

A very beautiful museum, situated close to the sea. Telling the story about one of Denmarks best painter couple. You can take a walk around in the house where they were living. Everything is preserved as they have left in the morning.

Amazing place. You really get to explore the life of Johannes Larsen as you can walk through the house where he lived and worked. And you will be able to see his amazing paintings up close. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Small souvenir shop as well.

The collection and the Villa are very nice.

It's that kind of museums, where you want to come back. It's huge and beautiful. With a very nice cafe 🙂.
