The food is on the next level, we went here for my birthday, and it was truly an experience. It's an interesting concept, you choose how many courses you want, mention allergies and what you like/dislike, and they decide your food. The chef (I believe) came to our table, and we had a short discussion about the food. He was really nice. We will certainly return.

Amazing restaurant with innovative japanese cuisine. One of those places where you enjoy every single bite. Great combination of textures and flavours. The menus allow you to try a variety of many small dishes.Simply loved it! Wonderful staff and quick service.

Ok, if I share how amazing this experience was, that I even shed a few tears during the desert, you are just going to be disappointed even though you might get the same dishes. So it's not you, it's me. But that said, if you are in Odense, this is the place to dine. Go in without reading more reviews and lower your expectations, and maybe you'll cry too 😉

Such a masterful and sometimes pioneering use of ingredients by the brilliant chef and staff!! I wish I could recite word for word the descriptions provided by our erudite server, who had us hanging on every syllable! 🤙🤙

Always an amazing and innovative take on Japanese Nordic fusion with enthusiastic service and excellent wine pairings. Also love the upstairs cocktail bar.

Ambiance: Nice, clean, open kitchen, pretty loud and not as cozy as it could be.
Food: Fantastic and super tasty small portions. Their menus include quite a lot of food so only order them if you are really hungry.
Service: Really good and attentive service with excellent knowledge about food.
Price: Reasonable but not cheap

We were a large group and our host organised a set menu for us with the restaurant. This was one of the best culinary experience I have ever had. I love Japanese sushi and what the chef did was tasty, creative and pretty. The staff was courteous and followed up on the dietary constraints for 3 of us, with a lot of attention. The set menu was well orchestrated. I would love to go back again. Well done to all in that restaurant!!

Very good food and experience

Me and my girlfriend are both amateur foodies, but we both agreed that this was the overall best food experience we have ever had in our lives so far. We have not visited Noma yet though so we'll see how long goma can keep the title. Overall amazing food, new surprisingly successful and innovative flavours. Not all flavours were equally successful to us but even our least favourite still were above anything you'd meet in a normal restaurant. For the record we picked the all around menu with 13 items as far as we could count, and that included a taste of wagyu, oysters, marvelous desserts and much much more for the price of 800 pr. head. Can highly recommend the experience. The staff was also highly knowledgeable and at the same time warm and welcoming.

Awesome food and awesome staff who were very friendly and took their time to explain. Nothing bad to say about our experience at Goma. Worth the price any day of the week in my book. Would go again!

Stunningly creative cook!! I have a nasty diet. Big challenge for the cook. He did a more than great job in meeting my diet wishes. He managed to surprise me with several beautifull colorfull tastefull dishes. Good explanation, patient, great people. Thanx a lot. Special compliments and thanks to Lasse.

One of the best food experiences I've ever had

Goma, goma, you’ll make me come back to Odense to enjoy your taste again and again. I took the 5 courses menu and it was a delightful experience. A personal note to the chef do not please abuse Teriyaki sauce (personal taste).
A slight sour note: the chocolate bite dessert could be even more delicate as the menu courses.
Still chef, it’s a 5 for me.

Phenomenal quality & tasting food. Trust the chef's recommendations. They can easily modify the menu for gluten free eaters.
