Wow. Large carpark. Can just visit the lovely well maintained grounds, beautiful gardens, and restaurant. Good treetop walk and play area for kids. Several large barns containing exhibitions of interest, transport, cars, motorcycles, emergency vehicles and surprisingly good one on camping!.
The castle was brilliant. Very good download able guide. Can walk around all the rooms, not stand behind a rope. Go up into the roof, more exhibits to see.

This place is amazing. The castle itself, though not that impressive, is still worth visiting. It’s not huge so you will probably only be spending an hour or so touring the interior but the grounds have much more to see and do. We didn’t actually get to see all of it but it’s definitely worth spending at least half a day here especially if you’re bringing the kids.

Amazing and unexpected!
The whole property is worth spending the whole day, and there is something for the whole family.
Pristine clean, restrooms everywhere, seating and resting areas too.
You can plan the whole day there, you will not regret it at all!!
And the on-site restaurant is also good!!

As stately homes go this is a very well thought out and attractive location. In addition to the house, there are very expansive, beautiful and well-maintained gardens, and several museum collections. Kids are also well catered for with fun parks and theme areas. The highlight of the house is Titania'Titania's Palace - a miniature castle that was hand-built in Ireland by James Hicks & Sons, Irish Cabinet Makers, who were commissioned by Sir Nevile Wilkinson from 1907 to 1922.

Amazing place, so much to do for all the family. Fantastic collection of cars, bikes, motorcycles, and a few planes and helicopter. it's a must to visit the castle as well as the grounds. The dolls House and collection of items in the attic are a must see.

This is a stunning castle, especially during summer and with sun! You can easily spend the day here so make sure to pack snacks and drinks if you dont want to buy them inside (which is also possible). Plenty of possibility for old and young to find a nice spot. There is a playground for children too.
The castle and gardens are beautiful.
A little too pricey for a 1-2hr visit, but for half a day or a day totally worth it!

One the few castles that is owned by the same noble family that dates back to even before the trenaissance towered complex was built in 1554 with moats all around.
It has extensive park with different styles between the labyrint like hedges with rare beautiful flowers that the gardeners make look lavish at all times.
The castle can visited inside.
Not to forgotten is the veteran car and firebrigade truck collection as well as motorcycles.
A lot to do for children with numerous playgrounds.

Beautiful place with lots of attractions: labirynths, some interesting exhibitions: old cars, motorcycles, rescue cars, camps, big playgrounds, beautiful gardens.
Unfortunately we couldn’t visit the castle as it was closed due to some huge festival, but still it was worth to visit it

very well-kept castle and park. I recommend a visit inside the castle. in the park there are numerous rooms to visit with many collections, as well as numerous plants, flowers and plant species. The games for children and adults in the park are much appreciated. ample parking for cars.

This is such an impressive property. I went there with the intent of visiting the castle and the gardens and was pleasantly surprised with so much more. The castle loft presents a rare opportunity to visit a piece of a castle that I was rarely given and inside you will also be able to view an impressive collection of vintage toys. Out of the castle and into the adjacent buildings we are presented with a collection of old bicycles, tricycles, mopeds, motorcycles, planes and even an helicopter. On top of that there is a considerable collection of classic cars including a Ford T-Bird, a Ferrari 308 and a DeLorean. To top it off there are also themed exhibitions dedicated to Firefighters including multiple emergency vehicles, one dedicated to Camping. also with various vehicles and a huge attic with a large collection of old cars and car parts begging to be restored. In summary, the visit is definitely worth it and make sure you save the whole day because there is plenty to see at Egeskov.

I totally recommend to visit the castle. There is so much to see! Not only the castle and castle gardens, but also a lot of exhibitions (cars, motorcycles, bikes, firetrucks, toys, Dracula crypt and even camping Museum), labyrinth, tree bridges. I reccomed to be there on the opening and then up to the closing time as there is so much to see and read (also in English), but if you want to read all it won't be enough... Castle is beautiful and in the castle there is a surprise in a form of fantastic dolls' house - Titania's palace, which is owned by Lego Foundation. I stood there and watched all of its rooms about 30 minutes. There are 3000 little exponates there. Really worth it!!!

An amazing day for children and adults. The castle itself is stunning, with explanations in Danish, German and English. The car and motorcycle exhibit was extensive. The children's playground is enormous and caters from the very young to teenagers. It was the best playground I have ever seen, and we could have spent two days there to explore everything.

Must see place while in Denmark! Stunning castle on the water with a spacefull grounds and activities for all ages!
Huge playgrounds for kids all ages, there is something for everyone.
Cute pink car looking like carriage running around. So you can take a ride if you pay extra or take picture a free picture.
Restaurant and few snack stands are available.
Free riding bikes on the track for kids.
Funny warning sign by the bridge, don't miss it. 😉
Benches are all over to your service and having a picnic on the grass is welcome as well.

I recommend to visit website ahead of time and see if they have a special event for the day you going to visit castle. They have a lot of cool events throughout the year.

All day stop! Be careful when think through how long you're going to spend at this masterpiece of history! There is many exhibits Cara, armor, a doll house, toys, rooms, and gardens. 4 separate hedge mazes and play grounds! The castle is only a portion of this lovely treasure, really it deserves a bit of research into what all it holds before going and I wouldn't give it less then 5 hours, there's so much to see. You could wander through the flowers and mazes that long and never see two thirds of the property. Parking is easy and tickets are reasonable.

It is always nice to visit this beautiful place. Our 4 year old daughter was crazy about all the playgrounds and ice cream in the unicorn cup. The owners develop the infrastructure all the time, so every time you can easily plan to spend all the day there.
