Really good restaurant. A bit pricey, but worth it. Portions are not too big. Helps to maintain your diet

Great ambience and steak! For 2 pax we shared a 700g Cote de Kod ribeye steak which was done precisely (we ordered medium rare), paired with some sides and drinks, and it came up to about 1000dkk in total. Staff were friendly and attentive too. There are quite a few steak options to pick from - ribeye, striploin or tenderloin, and an a4 wagyu. My only suggestion is to also include some bone in options for sharing, like a porterhouse or tomahawk. Would visit again if I get the chance!

Wonderful steak house with a cosy ambience!! Have been there twice and it was an amazing experience, as expected! Food was delicious and service was great.

Magnificent restaurant. I was in Aarhus for a business-trip and came here for a dinner. We had the menu including wines. It was perfect.! The service was very good and every waiter was able to speak English. I hope to come back soon!

Got the set menu, lobster ravioli and angus tenderloin were good. The sides were on the salty side. The creme brulee with raspberry sorbet was a delicious way to end the meal.

It is a challenge to decide where to start with the accolades for this restaurant so I will start with the server. He was a grad student in engineering and the best server our family can remember having. His advice to us was perfect for each of us, his service was timely and personality enjoyable. The food in this place was a shock! Unsurpassed is all I can say. I ordered the mashed potatoes ( for example), best in my life and I’m from the states. Bacon bits, creamy, buttery, I threatened not to ever leave. My husbands steak was just the way he loves it, crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful. The environment is enjoyable too.

How a person chooses to handle an error shows the true colors of that person.

The same thing can probably be said about restaurants. If I could wish for errors just to enjoy the attention detail and level of care I would not hesitate to rush back to Köd.

However, as I have been here a few times before I also know that this was no extraordinary level of service that we were offered and this is just what you can look forward to from the very tentative and highly service minded staff at Köd.

My friends and I had a great dinner with a great menu. All of us ordered their signature menu which leaves no room for anything else as it comes with both starter, main course with sides and a dessert. All of which was excellently prepared and served with superb timing.

Not once the entire evening (3 hours ) did we lack anything to eat and drink. That requires a waiter to be highly observant which was one of the many qualities of our host, besides understanding the lingo of our group.

Best steak I've had outside of Ireland. Try it with the port sauce and Kod fries - absolutely delicious. Service is good too, but you can be waiting a whole for your plate to be cleared away if it's busy.

So where to begin. Of course considering the price of the menu this is not a place you should go by accident, you'll be left to wonder why the fuzz. Go there if you not only want a steak, but if you know your steaks. Putting aside the grain fed issue in relation to the prices, the meat quality is not to be discussed. It's good. As it should be. Personell know their trade, you can ask questions and even go beyond rare and not medium and this and that. Go for the largest ribeye and order it red. Skip the bs truffle chips and order mushrooms as a side. Only the pepper sauce. It can be refilled as much as you like it. Embrace the sleeping french within you. It's OK, really. I'm giving five stars first and foremost because I want the steak lovers to see this review. Don't worry, you can afford it. And you should.

Incredible meal. One of the best we have had in recent memory. Tasting menu was great top to bottom. Wine parings were great as well. We will be back.

KöD Restaurant is an absolute revelation! Their Uruguayan beef is exquisite, perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The service maintains a high level of professionalism. A unique culinary experience!

We got a chateaubriand and it was absolutely amazing! So soft and tender you hardly had to chew it because it almost melted on the tongue. The waiter was also very nice and professional.

Wonderful spot by the canal and waterfront. Trendy, upscale and buzzing - a place that could easily be found in somewhere like London or New York but still with that amazing warmth of Aarhusians (?)

One of us had the set menu (3 courses for under 500kr) while the rest of us had the a la carte. We would say definitely have the steak or the set menu over the alternatives. The tomato and burrata sides as well as the kale and parmesan were the best.

I have been with my family. We had a starter (teriyaki fried shrimp, a steak and a side. The meat was delicious and well cooked. Perfect service with a kind and pleasant waitress. I will come back.

Stayed in Aarhus for business and loved KöD! The signature menu with accompanying wine menu are everything you need after a long day. It’s all about the food but with a nice setting great staff and delicious cocktails this is the perfect restaurant to end the day!
