Really good and tasty food in a beautiful interior surroundings! Friendly staff and reasonable prices. We ate salad buffet and meat eaters added kangaroo beef and antílope (kudu) steak. The antílope meat was superb and melted in the mouth. Everything in The vegetarian buffet tasted good and fresh! Home made bread crackers are also to die for!

My friend and I enjoyed a lunch buffet, around 3pm. Well made and presented. I did not have much appetite on the day, but my friend did and was pleased. He knew the place. With a few soft drinks I payed just over 500dkr for the both of us. Young and plesant staff, clean and cosy place.

Amazing would be the word of choice here.
The ordering process is a little different than what you might have come across before.

1. Ordering Process
You get seated, you look at the menu but once you are ready to order you have to go to the main counter in the adjacent room to place you order. If you want to have drinks (soda or beer) you need to get a drinks key fob which you insert next to the drinks dispenser before pouring as it keeps track of the volume you consume.

2. Food
The food tastes delicious. The quantity is pretty good too. Had the steak sandwich on one occasion and the chefs choice burger the other time. Both meals had a side of fries and a really delicious dip.

3. Price
For what you get, the price is fantastic. However, the drinks seem to be really expensive (even Coca Cola) which adds to your final bill.

4. Decor
Very traditional and old feel to the place. Not for my personal liking.

5. Staff
People are friendly but perhaps a bit shy (specially if you speak in English) which may come across as impoliteness. But once you get talking, you’ll feel ok.

I went there on a visit back from Møns Klint. Would recommend you visit both as the restaurant is pretty far off from Copenhagen otherwise to visit on its own.

Pleasant atmosphere, good buffet but weird drink-serving system. Good location and charming backyard where you can sit on good weather.

Awesome meat! Especially the deer steak. The buffet (really good quality one) could be a little cheaper or maybe could include drinks. But definitely recommend!

After a long drive around the country side this was a very positive surprise. You pick your meat in the shop. The rest is a very good buffet.

Excellent stop. We all had sandwiches and beer. Many choices for sandwiches and they were huge portions and great beer. Also the town is very quaint. It does not look big, but it is very deceiving. Huge back are and a lot of outdoor seating

A very nice surprise.. We repeated here. It is a meat shop in one side and a nice restaurant in the other.
The restaurant is spacious and has a courtyard with space for the kids to play. Food is correct with a reasonable price (for Denmark) and an available buffet with a sophisticated high tech method to get the drinks.
In one of the outside doors there was a bird nest and I could see the mother/father feeding three small ones.
Somehow the place was very charming.
