Refborg Restaurant

Saw this restaurant with a 4.7 rating on googlemap, gotta give it a try and did not disappoint :)
The restaurant is very nice, inside a local hotel. Simple yet elegant setting, we were a bit scared that our party (4 kids) will be too loud / affect other customers.
They were very thoughtful with providing coloring sheets to keep the kids busy.
The kids dishes came first, and the portions are big! Thats the fish and chips and the spaghetti bolognese, can fill an adult actually. Then the adults dishes came and the steak was absolutely amazing!
The best surprise comes last, we had creme brulee as dessert, kids had the ice cream, and actually the last dessert we got (don’t know the name) was ice cream covered with chocolate in a cone shape - must must must have!!!!!!
Want to go back there again already!!

Everything was amazing! Service verry kind and helpful. Food is so tasty. Specialy the steak and the chicken . Recomand the special beer .

Excellent food, nice atmosphere, solid service. Will go again when back in the area. Enjoyed all four dishes: tenderloin, monk fish and tortellini. Artichoke desert was also delicious.

Food was absolutely stunning! We had the Ribeye steak and the Crème Brûlée and they were both delicious. The portions were generous and the staff were lovely. It was a little pricey but I felt the quality justified it. A hidden gem if you are looking for a nice evening out while you are in Billund.

Beautiful place. Super dinner and super lunch. Super food. Danish quality. Very nice people. Next time I will book hotel, too.

Amazing food, with care given to each

Walked in without reservation, staffs were kind and welcoming, got us a table within minutes. They have children menu and we were pleasantly surprise! Portions were good, venison was beautifully executed! Love the ambiance here.

We had breakfast and dinner too. Breakfast is varied sweet and savory, bacon and eggs, cold cuts and cheese, various types of bread. homemade jams and typical pastries. Veg drink and got milk too. Everything delicious. The dinner a la carte, is above expectations. Five stars and more!!

Beautiful decoration, cosy atmosphere, nice food and great beer selection

As part of my trip to Lego for training, they took the team out for dinner, thank you Lego for this. Portions are good. Service good too . Food amazing, sorry no pics

Very very good tried danish food for first time, the shrimps were amazing and the desert topped everything off, it was very fresh would like to visit again!

Siamo arrivate alle 13.00 e nonostante il ristorante fosse chiuso a pranzo (è di un hotel), ci hanno accolte ugualmente.
Abbiamo ordinato un piatto di carne con salse e uno di pesce (4 tagli, crudo e cotto) con patatine fritte. Prodotti di qualità, cucinati bene, con anche un bell'impiattamento
Servizio veloce e cameriera gentilissima.
Ha superato le nostre aspettative!

La comida deliciosa, tiene variedad de cervezas y el postre delicioso también, la atención muy buena. 😊

Sikke detaljer, sikke en smag. Tak for mad - vi nød hver en bid, selvom det næsten var svært at tage den første og dermed ødelægge anretningen. Kartofler og sovs var til - også helt perfekt. Servicen var fantastisk. Uformel, men stadig professionel. Hyggelig.
