Yamazato Cabarete

All I can say is WOW, they have a great menu selection and friendly service. I can’t rave enough about the pad tai with shrimp. It arrived steaming hot and was delicious. Good sized portions and the mixed sushi platter is a deliciously great value. Our waiter was quick despite being extremely busy with take out orders (due to rain). We ate outside under the cover of their awning that kept us completely dry. 2 thumbs up for this place for sure and we will return soon to try other menu options. Prices were reasonable for the quality and size of portions

Great service and delicious food. Best sushi in Cabarete, it was so good we had to come back the next day to suffice our cravings.

We found this place at the end of our stay in Cabarete, what meant that I could enjoy its tasty sushi and other fish delights only once. I do like good food and in Cabarete its not a problem, but sometimes I need the portions to still my hunger ,after a day full of sport, to be a bit bigger. Fresh fish, a lot of variations, big portions, nice serving. Not a problem for me, but the tables are basically on a parking lots, facing the main road, what makes it a bit noisier. To balance it out, the prices are very reasonable and the service is very friendly.

A very good Japanese restaurant. Been here a few times. Love the food here. Everything here is good. Love the sushi here. Prices here are from reasonable to a little over prices. For lunch it a steal. It was 385 with tax Dom Rep peso ( 11$ CAD or 7.60$ USD ). In that you get a full course meal. A miso soup and your meal. Just the soup is head or tails. Some days it tastes perfect and other times it tastes too salty. Besides that small thing it a great place to eat. Would definitely come back here again.

The sushi is outstanding. A local said it was his favorite restaurant in Cabarete and he was on point. The portions are substantial and fresh!! They also have other options on the menu, like tempura, pad thai and more and the service is outstanding!!!

Fast service. We did not have to wait a lot to get the food. We were a group of people and it was fast. The portions were satisfying. I will go back.

Sooo good! We got delivery. We've eaten at a few places this trip and we all agreed this was our best place so far! Chicken and beef teriyaki was really good!! We liked the volcano roll and Philadelphia avocado roll a lot! We also got the tempura, gyoza, spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll and pork egg rolls. If our trip wasn't coming to an end, there's a good chance we'd eat at this place a second time. Thanks for the good food! ❤

What a fabulous sushi dinner. Everything was delicious and fresh. The waiter Rigo was extremely helpful and attentive. Smiles from all of us. We all will come back.... and soon. Thanks.

Great food and excellent service! We ordered the chicken pad Thai and the beef teryaki, which were both amazing, a welcome change of diet after the generally fried food the dominicans eat. Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend

Absolutely the best sushi on the North Coast. The fish is fresh and tasty, and the rice is done to perfection. Cozy seating inside, but they have a generous outdoor patio. Food comes out very quick. The rolls aren't done too tightly, nor do they fall apart.

Consistent good food from one of the few Asian restaurants on North Coast. Sushi is always fresh and tasty. For the price you cannot beat their lunch specials. Good stuff.

Absolutely brilliant. Was so excited to have sushi like back home in Canada and was not disappointed. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Best place to eat at Cabaret

Bento box for lunch during the week is a cheap and tasty option. I love fish tempura with a sauce in it.

Regular rolls and nigiri are also worth the price. Staff is always friendly and service is fast.

Great sushi. My husband had the shrimp fried rice which was amazing as well. Would've never expected it from this small, hidden location. Loved it. Would definitely recommend.
